The only problem I had with this film is the couple of shots of Megaguirus where the wires were REALLY noticeable.

Other than that, I loved it.

I think that's only on the Sony DVD.

It is. Sony was so concerned with the quality of the picture that they may not have noticed this. Wires are visible in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla as well.

Woah! Woahhhh!
There's a version of Godzilla vs Megaguirus where the strings aren't visible!?!

Another DVD I need to replace
The dead animals in KOM are a result of high powered signals sent from aliens,to awaken the dormant monsters. Animals with similar senses are overloaded from the signal &drop dead. That way much of the world will be destroyed in prep for the invasion.

Yeah, IIRC, the strings aren't visible on the R2 disk.

Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't Tokyo S.O.S have the same string problem with Mothra? Or is it also the DVD's fault again?

I taped G vs Megaguirus off tv, and you can see the strings during one scene.

The strings aren't visible on Toho's remastered version either, and the resolution there is much higher. How could Sony screw up like that is a mystery.
Every film should have at least one animal attack.

Anyone else think it weird that the kid who basically doomed millions by messing with that egg and then dropping it in the sewer just disappears from the movie?

Godzilla should've crushed him or he been eaten by a Meganulon. He was an atrocious addition to the film.

Just one example of the horrid writing that plagues this film. That character served no other purpose except to get the egg from point A to point B.
