Uh, because he got blasted by Godzilla only moments before? He may have gained some of Godzilla's regeneration when he bite him earlier in the fight, but in the end, he got cocky.

There was nothing wrong with my sentence, did I say "ORGA WAS WEAK BECAUSE HE WAS SLOW" the answer is no, I did not.

I said he semmed weak to me, and he was big and bulky, unable to connect accurate hits.

@Patrick: I honestly wasn't sure WHAT you were originally trying to say; I was having difficulty reading your post.

@Goji: Yeah, okay, I concede. Knowing Godzilla could blast him should have served as a warning.

I kinda saw it like Orga couldn't stop, he tasted the power and he liked it! He craved it! Orga had only one thing on his mind, consume Godzilla and make his abilities mine! So he couldn't stop even if he wanted to. I don't think he gave a SKREEONK. Then he went nomnomnomnom!

It was intended mate.
On Topic: I enjoy his overall design, very interesting. His powers are pretty cool, if only he was better executed in the film.

I think I'm going to watch Godzilla 2000 again after reading this thread. I always liked Orga and his huge arms and the shoulder cannon was a unique location for a weapon. Also, in the scene that was pictured a few posts above, I always wondered if Orga had absorbed/assimilated more of Godzilla, would the largest dorsal spike have been able to fit in Orga's mouth at full extension.

That kinda sounds like my question about if he'd be able to consume Biollante, the biggiest daikaju!

Playing as Orga once in a blue moon, I've enjoyed his fighting style. Orga carries so much mass behind his titanic alien frame; he's practically immovable. It is a tragic shame that this experience here was not on film. Playing as either one of the Godzilla's, my primary riot-control move has to be the jumping tail swing (where he swings his tail about in the air at a good 360 degrees or more). It's funny to see SpaceGodzilla and Destoroyah being cleared away with that move, but seeing King Ghidorah flying after that tail connects definitely surprised me. If that tail connects with Orga on the ground, he hardly even moves; just shifts over about 2 paces. Like I said, these attributes were not portrayed on screen due to his short stint on film.

On a side note, reading the innuendos connected to Orga's devouring of Godzilla seriously had me rolling on the floor laughing here in my work center.

A constrictor, with stretchable jaws, can swallow an animal with horns. Orga was able to stretch his jaw, so I imagine Orga could be able to.

That was a python who ate an alligator, but it was too much and the python burst, so yeah don't be too sure to believe he'd be able to consume Biollante.

*shrug* Dunno, just something I heard on a documentary around that picture a while back. Personally, I figure that if the alligator was so big it ruptured the python, how did the snake swallow it in the first place?

Orga was a friggin' beast! Looked like a mix of Godzilla, a Xenomorph and a mutated crab. However, his successor Megaguirus was a worthier opponent.
