*shrug* Dunno, just something I heard on a documentary around that picture a while back. Personally, I figure that if the alligator was so big it ruptured the python, how did the snake swallow it in the first place?

Orga was a friggin' beast! Looked like a mix of Godzilla, a Xenomorph and a mutated crab. However, his successor Megaguirus was a worthier opponent.

Orga is a favorite of mine, being the second G movie I ever saw. I like the idea of him constantly mutating. Plus his G:U caricature is pretty funny with those big hands. Nice roar too.

Well ... he was healing, not mutating.

Orga is okay, though I really liked him when I was little due to seeing Godzilla 2000 in theaters when I was 7 or 8. To the contrary, he didn't get much screentime, meaning he didn't get to do much.

I did like seeing more of him in the Atari games, especially DAMM. I loved his double-claw uppercut and paralyzing goo, as well as the "flick" animation he had in Unleashed.

While I do like the manga version of G 2000 more than the movie, the incarnation of Orga was... meh.

No teeth and he had these weird vagina things:

And in this version Orga's cannon was located in the middle of his shell/hump rather than on his shoulder.

Now that youve said that and after looking at the pic...I'll have that image in my head all night.

Orga's always been one of my all-time favourite monsters, though to be fair, Godzilla 2000 is the only Godzilla movie I've gotten to see in theatres. Not only that, but he was the first toy I got as a kid aside from a Zilla from Trendmasters. So... I may be a tad biased, but I really like the hulking behemoth appearance of Orga and similar looking creatures (namely the Rancor from star wars and the Hunters from halo).

Orga had potential, but his appearance is rather bland compared to other Millenium kaiju.

Orga's awesome. Hope we'll see him again someday. Also, did anyone think of Orga when they saw the Cloverfield monster?

The Cloverfield monster looks pretty different IMO, in spite of the similar enlongated arms-short legs design. Orga is pretty big a and bulky whereas the Cloverfield monster is is tight and -- well "sleek" is not a good word but you get the idea. Even Cloverfield is a more "alien" sort of design that I would've liked Orga to appear as. It's a fine line between making him too dazzling that it overshadows Godzilla in his debut movie (for a new series) and making him too boring as well. As a final note though, I would definitely not hold your breath for seeing Orga appear again in a live action movie.

The basic design of Clover still reminds me of Orga, but you're definitely right about him being a lot bulkier. And yeah, chances are Orga won't be showing up again any time soon, but I can hope.

Orga's pretty cool and I liked the fight with him. Though (like most people have said) I kinda wish he would have appeared around the middle of the movie rather than the last 20 minutes. It also wouldn't have left us Godzilla-less for over half an hour.

Orga's okay. He worked for the movie he was in, but I don't really have any interest in seeing him return.

I like his design overall, but the execution could've used some work. The giant, immobile hands were the main problem. They should've been shrunken slightly, made more flexible and useful for grappling. Otherwise he looked pretty good. His head, especially; recognizably Godzilla-like, but still distorted and alien.

I also liked the concussion cannon. That thing packed a punch. I can't think of many other beam weapons capable of knocking Godzilla around like that. His telepathic link to his ship was cool, too.

The hands weren't much use, but they fit with the body. Orga is a big bodied brute, and the physique of his hands matched that.

I always saw him as a stab at American blockbuster monsters. Arrives in an Independence Day spaceship, becomes a Rancor with American Godzilla's head, etc. Even if the others are just coincidences, there's no way it's not Zilla's head.
Fire Rodan appears to have had a delicious caramel filling.
