True  But remember James isnt the smartest Goji fan. In his Godzillathon, I noticed he stated some wrong facts. I am a huge fan of him eather way.
Agreed!

his godzillathon's were ok, were ok, but to the point. putting baragon in the title would have been... different

That would be me!
Is that so?
I calculated the odds of this succeeding vs the odds I was doing something incredibly stupid, and I went ahead and did it anyways.

Toho didn't even want that creature in the film last i read, An i honestly never heard of it or cared for it prior to this film. If it was up to the director King Ghidorah or Mothra wouldn't have been in the film (which is fine by me)

Toho wanted money, they used what sells and that was Godzilla - Mothra - King Ghirdorah, the fact that Baragon was even in the film but not in the title shows you how little control the director had on this project.

I give you credit; that made me smile.

Although Baragon was popular enough to be permitted to stay in the story, I'm sure Toho figured putting Mothra's and Ghidorah's names on the title would garner much more (Japanese)mainstream attention - plus, as mentioned already, the full title is pretty long as it is.

And GBMK doesn't roll off the tongue as well.

Let's lose the G and the K and just call it BM.
Baragon and mothra two attack?

The way I took it was that the "ALL OUT ATTACK" in the title was referring to the final battle at the end between Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah. Since Baragon wasnt there, he wasnt part of the "ALL OUT ATTACK" and hence is not referenced in the title. Thats how I took it.

^ back to one scene in GMK, when that woman said that all the guardian monsters were there, i thought that was a dumb line, because she had seen baragon die. he was probably there in spirit

They should've just called the film: Godzilla VS The Guardians, simple and not as long as the outcome. I think Baragon wasn't inlcuded because according to Toho, no one gave a sh*t about him, and maybe that's how Varan and Anguirus got knocked off the film and replaced with King Ghidorah and Mothra.
Yooo 8-)

I like Godzilla vs. the Guardians as a title, but Toho was so eager to get people back into the theatre that they were probably going to put Mothra and Ghidorah in the title no matter what. In that case, I would have simply preferred Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah. The second part of the title isn't needed; it's like the G Extermination Strategy subtitle for Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. Dropping it for the International title was a good idea.

that would have been a great title. to the topic: baragon, and varan have one thing in common. no body cares about them

The fans care, but Toho doesn't.

I almost think Sony should just rename it "GMK" for the inevitable Blu-Ray release. The full title is ridiculously stupid.

^ I would just drop the Giant Monsters All-Out Attack and call it Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah, since Sony is probably going to want the monster names in the title. I don't know why they didn't just do that in the first place, considering they had the good sense to drop the G Extermination Strategy from the title of Godzilla vs. Megaguirus when they released it overseas.
