No...it was bad color correction.
Wasn't this mostly a result of Toho clamoring to get this out by winter? [therefor rushed/ unfinished effects]
I wouldn't be surprised. They didn't even bother to color correct the scene of Godzilla first appearing.

Congratulations. You've constructed the most perfectly wrong post ever seen on TK.

I think I'm in the minority when I say that this movie has the worst looking Mothra. It looks like it's glaring all the time and I just don't like how they tried to make her look more like an actual butterfly.

The rest of the suits are good though, although Ghidorah's necks seem a little weird to me.

I loved the look of this Mothra, like what James Rolfe said, at least not like a fluffy butterfly piece of sh*t.
Yooo 8-)

The Godzilla suit was decent. Not one of my favorites like some others are, but still good. I really didn't like the portrayal of Ghidorah in this film and I thought the suit was too small and didn't look quite right in the face (s). The Mothra on the other hand is really nice, probably my favorite Mothra design.

I still like the older classic designs for Mothra but I totally love this one. I bit immobile at times but I liked the meaner wasp like look to it. Ghidorah's suit is the weakest for me although I love the scene when he reveals his wings.

^ The issue wasn't how strong they could have been; it was how strong they should have been. From the beginning, Godzilla was supposed to be a whole class above his adversaries. When Ghidorah was shoehorned in, he had to be modified to fit the criterion.

I really like how they made Ghidorahs head designs a refrence to the old plot! (Godzilla, Varan, and Anguirus)

Look at the fin things at the side of there heads! There the same!
I also noticed the GMK Anguiruses fangs look the same!
