Toho’s LIBRARY WARS live-action movie is now being offered for distribution outside Japan. Check out SciFi Japan for a look at English promotional materials and high-res images courtesy of the film’s international sales agent, TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System).

Kind of surprised how many 2013 films they managed to snag for the event. Not sure if I will see it, but gf is interested given it's remotely based on her profession.

It's doing festival runs right now. Plays in San Francisco on August 2nd as part of the Japanese Film Festival.

Uncanny; I just recently read Fahrenheit 451 and Nineteen Eighty-Four for the first time. This sounds like a remarkably similar style of story, albeit maybe a little more "fun".
