Orga, definitely. I've always been a fan of him.

Megaguirus looks really awesome, though.

Definitely Monster X. The other two seem kind of generic and bland.

I kinda like them all but my favorite is probably Monster X. I really loved his design and how brutal a fighter he was. Orga was pretty cool too but I only wish they gave more details on his origin and the UFO's as well. Megagurius is cool and I liked her design and energy draining ability

Even though her staring movie is the weakest of the Millennium series, I have to go with Megaguirus, I absolutely love her design and origin, to be honest she's one of my favorite monsters period :)

Actually I take back the comment about Megaguirus being the weakest movie in the Mellennium series, Final Wars makes Megaguirus look like " The Godfather "

Monster X looked boss, but was hampered by the fact that it turned into ANOTHER FRIGGIN' GHIDORAH INCARNATION! I liked Megaguiras because she had some personality and presented Godzilla with one of his best fights against a flying monster.

Monster X pulls out over Megaguirus by a very small margin. They're both two of my favorite all-time monsters. Orga is very cool as well, but I thought his bulky design hampered him somewhat. Megs, on the other hand, has an amazing design. She's lean, mean, and just looks fierce. Then there's MX, who I though embodied the idea of an alien monster perfectly. He looks awesome, and he gets some extra points for matching GFW Goji blow for blow.

Orga is the only monster who really was not inspired by any other Godzilla Kaiju. Love him or him, he's as original as it get's.

There were some G2000 detractors back when the film came out who claimed Orga was Toho trying to poke fun at Gamera.

I don't get that... like at all. I'm curious to see who said that, because I see no such thing.

I think it was in the long, scathing review written by one of those Godzilla scholar types for G-Fan back in 1999/early 2000. It's been a while, though.

That would make sense. I just can't at all see a resemblance.

^Yeah, but still moe orignal than Megaguirus or Monster X. He may have been a rip-off design, but he wasn't jsut a re-packaging of an existing moster like Megaguirus and Monster X (who really shouldn't even be counted as a character independed of Ghidorah at all).
Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

Indeed, that's where I'm coming from. Megaguirus is the Millenium Film's Battra, and Monster X like you said is King Ghidorah 2.0

In conception maybe there were similar ideas, but as for the final designs I think Megs and MX are both pretty unique.

Orga hands down. While the movie execution was meh at best, I love the concept. The manga version is So much better, as it goes in-depth about its creation as well as the Alien race that made it.

Plus, its one of the monsters I grew up with once I truly discovered the Japanese Godzilla via Destroy All Monsters Melee. I can remember fondly trying to unlock him for ages.

So no matter what people think, Orga has a special place in my heart for being one of the first introductions into the world of Godzilla.

Could you elaborate on Orga's creation in the manga? I'm interested. 8-)
