It just perplexes me as to why you'd put chemical weapons for indirect combat on a mecha. Because you could get the same results from some super-durable plane with much less money, time, and manpower required for building a giant robot.

Ok, here is my arsenal. I'll break it down by sections of the machine.

Arms-
-Revolving finger missiles that can be loaded with different chemical warheads for each mission, but their standard chemical would be some kind of chemical that can slow down Godzilla's regeneration.
-Cadmium wrist missiles to cool and slow hostiles.

Shoulders-
-Removable shoulder packs that contain several Massive Ordnance Penetrators designed for maximum destruction.
-Twin shoulder rail guns.

Back-
-A huge stockpile of primed and ready heat-seeking missiles for repeated, but weak attacks.
-A few more powerful missiles that are DNA coded for ultimate precision.
-The largest spike on MechaG's back would actually be a large sword which can be removed and used for some excellent T and C.

Feet-
-Revolving toe missiles.
-Tunnelling earthquake bombs that can travel short distances before detonating underground, causing structural collapse around the target.

Head-
-Cheeks can open to release disruptive tear gas shells.
-Thermobaric missile fired from top of head.
-Eye lasers.
-Electrical blast beam that can be fired from mouth.

Legs-
-Twin spiral grenade missiles can be fired from removable knee ammo boxes.

Chest-
-A huge, powerful cannon that can fire a beam of plasma.

Armor-
-Especially resistant to heat and radiation.
- Chest plate can absorb energy to provide additional power to all systems.

Miscellaneous-
-Laser portholes scattered across body.
-Rapidly activating stabilizers, which are structures that can pop out to provide support for the machine in case of a fall.

And that's about it. The difficulty would be finding enough space to fit that all.
If you have nothing to lose, than you have nothing to fight for.

I just thought of something. Anyone play Godzilla Domination? I remember they gave Mechagodzilla a move where he let's burning hot steam out and it could hurt the enemy. Why not give Mechagodzilla a way to let steam out as both a means of venting and harming the enemy? Yeah I know it wouldn't look all that impressive but at least it'd be something different.

Good. Then it will be cost effective. :) We can call it the Super X IV.

Blinding laser- The eyes would fire an intense light beam. This would do no physical harm, but when shot into a monster's eyes, would disable their vision for a short time.

Pulse beam- This would come from the mouth. It's not a solid beam, but a series of pulses with both force and explosive power. You could knock an enemy down and do damage at the same time.

Cadmium grenades- A shoulder mounted weapon, it's loaded with 8 grenades.

Plasma torch- This is loaded on the left arm, and used for close up combat. If an enemy starts wailing on you, the torch will send out a stream of hot plasmathat will severely burn and/or cut into flesh. Even thick scales may not be a defense.

Injection blade- Rather than a sword type blade, this is more like a retractable syringe located on the right arm. It can be loaded with anything from heavy tranquilizer to chemical weapons. An injection of whatever could slow down, impair, or kill a kaiju.

Quadruple mazer- In the chest are four mazers that can work as seperate beams, or the beams can combine for extra strength.

Rockets- On the lower legs are detachable boxes that fire up to 10 rockets. The warheads can carry special loads.

Electrode blade- This blade is on the tip of the tail. It can be charged with thousands of volts and used to stab a foe. It could also be detached, sticking in the foe's flesh, and be operated by remote control. It works up close and at a distance.

Of course, it would also have flight.

Another Rob Liedfeld-like monstrosity. Seriously, why so many guns on its back? It looks like he has a freakin' Star Destroyer there. What purpose do they serve other then to make it impossible for MechaGodzilla to move? How that thing doesn't immediately topple over under the weight of all those guns is beyond me. And it seriously looks like MechaGodzilla has about four or five eyes, because of all the glowing red spots on him, which serve no real purpose whatsoever.

Honestly, it's not the Mecha G I don't like in the picture. It's Godzilla. I mean look at him! His head is tiny!

Honestly Tyler I would have been okay with Heisei Mecahgodzilla having a "tnaky" design like this cause his role in that film was pretty much nothing but a two legged tank. The poster design certainly fits him better then 74/74 Mechagodzilla or Kiryu that's for sure. I wonder if this is where they came up with the idea for that Power Up Mechagodzilla toy.

Recently seeing the episode of LAW & ORDER:SVU episode "Bang", in which a sleezball ended up meeting his end courtesey of a WASP Knife(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa_NC-_fvKs,http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasp_knife ). The Wasp Knife is the name of a weapon that in the hilt contains a large amount of compressed CO2 in a cylinder, and injects the contents of said cylinder into wound inflicted by the blade. Used by divers to defend themselves from aggressive sharks. On top of the wound inflicted by the rapid expansion of the gas which displaces organs, the compressed CO2 freezes the area in which the wound was inflicted. So to prevent bleeding which could incite other sharks in the area to frenzy. Also, said shark, bouyed by the gas, would float to the surface.

The first Mechagodzilla, in Round Two with the Big-G and King Seesar, used a bunch of darts/harpoons on Godzilla. I thought the darts should've had a time delayed reaction after impact, explosive charge set to go off seconds after impact, thus inflicting more damgae after lodging in Godzilla's hide. Likewise, some WASP rounds, injecting a rather huge amount of CO2 into Godzilla. On top of the explosive reactions shown in the video. The CO2's freezing effect would've frozen the rather large, gapping wounds. Slowing down the Big-G's regeneration, making him vulnernable to further hits, and the possible pain making him nurse the injuries, making him a little more leary to strike back. But tenacious so and so Godzilla is, unless the wounds were inflicted on his legs, or some spot that impedes his movement, or cripples him long enough to launch another attack, Mechagodzilla/Kiryu better prepare for some major blowback from a P.O.ed Godzilla. Special WASP rounds, like the tranq darts in the UNGCC MechaG could be added, along Kiryu's arsenal. Or else, as in the first Kiryu flick, GODZILLA AGAINST MECHAGODZILLA Kiryu utilized a retractable blade which emrged from the mecha's left wrist, and like a Taser, delivered a nasty charge into Big-G. Perhaps a later, model of Kiryu, could utilize a WASP version of this close quarters weapon. Which would inflict, a bigger, nastier wound on Godzilla.
