Unfortunately due to scientific research and experiments in biological warfare new creatures are created each representing waring nations. Due to these creations the earth suffers incredible damage / disasters scarring the planet. The Japanese stand and watch until a distant relative of Dr Yumani explains that earth will not be able to last much longer due to disasters and ultimately will become unhabitable for all humans. The scientist then believe only the return of Godzilla can end the wars and destroy the maurading creatures from each nation. But Japan ultimately knows Godzilla will return to his homeland and again spread horror and devastation to the country. The format is set for further films and ultimately a face down with Japan's last hope who is called upon by the children of the world... Gamera?

I like everything except the Gamera part.

Yeah, after giving more thought to it, Gamera would be much, but I'd like to make it lead to something big. Working on more ideas...

It might make a decent fan-fic, but considering expanding on the Heisei films as legitimate films just does not make any kind of sense and it would just be poking at and spoiling a perfectly solid and well-rounded era of Godzilla continuity.

I like the idea for the Godzilla vs. The Gargantuas. It could be called Godzilla: War of the Gargantuas

The Gargantuas return, but so does Godzilla! Gaira and Sanda continue their fight, but then their sibling fighting gets the attention of Godzilla. Godzilla attacks Sanda and Gaira, but insted of the Gargantuas both teaming up, Gaira still attacks Sanda. Godzilla starts just beating Gaira without mercy, and Sanda attempts to save his brother, but Gaira still attacks Sanda. Godzilla slams Sanda to the ground and continues his attack on Gaira as Sanda watches from the ground. Finally Sanda gives up and decides to flee back into the mountains and go to Mt. Fugi. As he tries to escape, his foot accidently dislodges a boulder that smashes into Godzilla's legs, bringing the radioactive lizard to the ground, giving Gaira a chance to get the upper hand. Gaira starts beating Godzilla and the two slam each other into buildings and such, eventually leading to a battle in the sea where Godzilla finally defeats Gaira. Godzilla then defeats him. Godzilla then comes back to land and travels to Mt. Fuji to take on Sanda, the two meet and Sanda attemps to tell Godzilla to calm down and tries to convince Godzilla not to attack, but he doesn't listen. The two fight and it ends with Sanda slamming Godzilla into the side of a mountain where he is buired by tons of rocks.

THE END

I like the idea, but my opinion is more like TokyoVigilante's: it would've been cool in the early 90s when BFE was fresh in the minds of fans and moviegoers alike, but now in 2012 there's really no point. So you have a good idea, just 20 years too late! :( That might've even worked out nicely for the debut film in the RoM trilogy. None of those films were good or fresh enough to be worth keeping. I've done some RoM trilogy ideas for myself and do hope (possibly in vain) that Toho will give Mothra a new movie or two in the future.

Patrick Alan wrote:How about Anguirus getting his own movie by himself.

Anguirus, like some of the other monsters, doesn't really have the cache to get his own movie, at least not these days. However, if they did some "prehistoric kaiju" movie then dinosaur-type kaiju like Anguirus, Gorosaurus, etc, could be thrown into the movie together.

It would've been a fun ride in the 60s or 70s if they did it. These days it makes less sense. However, if this is supposed to have continuity with the Frankenstein-Gargantua saga, keep in mind that the Gargantuas are puny compared to Godzilla. They're literally half the size and I suspect Gaira wouldn't be able to do a whole lot of damage to Godzilla overall, even with Sanda's help. I mean it looks like your idea does show Gaira being at a disadvantage, but I suspect the gap in power between the two is more considerable. This is but my humble opinion.

On to my own idea, stupid or genius as it may be ...

Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla: Onslaught of the Machines

Set many, many years in the future in a somewhat Terminator-esque world where a massively intelligent and powerful computer has become self aware, the world has been torn apart by war. Machines have taken over much of the world but mankind remains an endless thorn in the sides of the machines. In this advanced world the supercomputer(s) have been able to construct hyper-advanced weapons, vehicles, aircraft, and mechs to crush humans. Computers aren't perfect though, and there's another threat to their survival: Godzilla. Whereas the machines in this world harness vast amounts of nuclear energy, guess who else does? And Godzilla takes no sides, yet he's often attracted to the many nuclear plants "controlled" by the computers in Asia and western North America. The mechs sent out by the computer against Godzilla are powerful, but Godzilla truly is god-like in power. A high-power mech named Moguera fares better but remains inferior to Godzilla. Something much more significant is required for the sake of the machines. Using data collected on Godzilla, a powerful robot is constructed to match Godzilla's power and protect the machines.

Godzilla shows up to absorb the energy in one of the flagship nuclear plants in Japan, but Mechagodzilla (Mechagodzilla to the humans in the story, Anti-G 1 to the machines) distracts Godzilla and unleashes a truly amazing breadth of weaponry and brutal fighting techniques. A Uranium beam from the mouth even mimics Godzilla's own atomic ray. However, even the astounding armor utilized on Mechagodzilla is not immune to Godzilla's atomic ray, and Godzilla himself is mighty enough to physically battle Mechagodzilla. It eventually appears to be that Mechagodzilla has the firepower, but Godzilla has durability. Being an organic being is always an advantage in these movies too, right? Haha. In time, Godzilla eventually manages to disrupt or destroy some of Mechagodzilla's primary weapons, and with even moderately limited fighting power, it's enough to give Godzilla an edge.

For the human aspect of the story, the humans are able to take advantage of Godzilla's appearances and launch their own attacks. In the final battle with Godzilla and Mechagodzilla, a final onslaught with virtually all available weapons are used to destroy some key areas. This is of course taking place while the machines have launched their own attacks, so it's a risk for all sides. And for the record, the computers would be attempting to build increasingly powerful and complex mechs earlier in the movie to stop Godzilla before they finally decide on what becomes Mechagodzilla, so it wouldn't (hopefully) be a boring movie until the last third or so when MG comes onto the scene.

Thoughts? Don't be afraid to be critical. We're all Godzilla fans here. I sound like a broken record in Gunhed threads in regards to having wanted a futuristic Godzilla/Gunhed movie that was the original idea for what eventually was heavily changed and became Gunhed. And today I happened to think the machines would be a sinister origin for Mechagodzilla.

This sounds AMAZING. If done right, of course. Maybe have the humans crash MechaGodzilla's targeting systems in the final onslaught, giving Godzilla the edge to crush his foe? You might have to develop the self-awareness to make it unique, but overall it's a neat idea. I'd definitely like to see what this type of MechaGodzilla would look like. It seems like a fresh take on the machine takeover and a great idea for a new Godzilla film.

I have an idea, but I'll probably re-edit this post or post it whenever I finish.

Maybe Godzilla vs. The Mysterians?

A aline race now as the Mysterians arrive on earth. (yata yata yata and all they did in they're movie). Until finally they unleash Mougera onto the mountainside. He leaves a trail of destruction towards Tokyo. Once he arrives they use tanks, jets, and ect. on him. But quicly he proves them all useless. All this destruction awaens Godzilla who has been asleep since terror of mecha-godzilla. Godzilla bustes from the sea and roars. Mougera stops and stares at Godzilla. Godzilla gets onto shore and roars at Mougera for a little bit. Mougera beeps bac then unleashes his beams onto Godzilla. Covering the king of the monsters in explosions and sending him to the ground. Quickly Godzilla gets bac onto his feet and fights Mougera for a bit. Until Godzilla gains a slight advantage. The Mysterians realize Mougera is on the verge of defeat so they unleash the second Mougera into the fray! The second Mougera quickly knocks Godzilla off the first using his beams.

Godzilla rises and unleashing his atomic ray. Covering both super weapons in explosions. Godzilla rises and the battle of the century begins. Eventually Godzilla is knoced down and both Mougera's begin moving in on him. Repeadedly firing they're beams, maing shure he stays floored. The SDF continue to try to stop these menaces and use they're secret super weapon the Super-X to attack the two Mougera's. Quickly both Mougera's are floored. The second eventually manages to stand as the Super-X moves in closer. In one last attempt to save himself and his 'brother', the second Mougera fires off his beams. The Super-X manages to dodge the beams kills the Mougera.

All it can do it let out one final beep before falling to the ground and exploding. The first Mougera rises and realizes its 'brother' has died. So the mysterians tell him to fall back. Mougera goes to Mount Fuji where the base is locates. Suddenly Godzilla leaps up from the woods, grabs Mougera by the tail, and slams him to the ground. Godzilla then gets a grip on the cyborg menaces neck and begins twisting its head off. Mougera squirms and beeps as he tries to escape. The Mysterians send out suacers to try to defeat Godzilla. While Godzilla finishes Mougera off the Super-X holds off the saucers. Finally Godzilla prys the aliens head free, causing a huge explosion. The Mysterians activate a self desctruct on they're dome base as it is discovered. They quickly flee into there ships and escape. Godzilla lets out a roar of victory. He then looks up into the sky to see the ships flying over. Godzilla uses his heat ray to destroy them. As the remains fo the ships rain down around Godzilla roars out in victory once again. Godzilla then turns away and escapes out to sea.

EDIT:

Return of Titanosaurus

At the bottom of the ocean a inraged Titanosaurus awakens. He roars out in fury, then see's a submarine. Out of rage Titanosaurus sinks it. He arrives on shore and begins a rampage on Tokyo. The Japanese government had taken there own try on a MechaGodzilla and sent it out to do battle with Titanosaurus. MechaGodzilla arrives and Titano remembers MechaGodzilla II, thinking it was him Titano charged. The two have a breif fight, until Titano gains the upper hand by using his sonic roar. MechaGodzilla is covered in explosions as he falls to the ground. Titano roars before turning back towards Tokyo. Suddenly the water flashes and begins to bubble. Titano turns to see Godzilla emerging from the ocean. Godzilla reconizes Titano and emediatley charges him. Titano reveals all his new powers, able to unleash a high pressure stream of water from his mouth, a green atomic ray, and can create enormous crevices simply by roaring hard enough. Badly injured, Godzilla falls onto a building. Titano roars and massive crevice forms in the earth. Godzilla and all the surrounding buildings fall into it. Titano roars out in victory then stomps away to the countryside.

Titano leaves a trail of destruction. (Human scenes explaining how while sleep Titano was covered in nuclear waste and which unlocked his true potential and gave him new abilities). Suddenly Titano stops once a fully repaired and updated MechaGodzilla levitates down towards him. Immediatley MechaGodzilla fires off all his weapons. Tiano falls to the ground, seemingly dead. MechaGodzilla comes and checks Titano for signs of life. Suddenly Titano punched MechaGodzilla in the face, sending him onto a small hut. MechaGodzilla tries to rise but Titano leaps onto him and punches him many times. MechaGodzilla uses a flame thrower similar to that of Fake Godzilla's to knock Titano off him. The two go into deep combat. But Titano manages to defeat the cyborg. Titano then creates a crevice in the Earth. Titano then picks up MechaGodzilla and prepares to drop him into it.

Suddenly a flash came from the crevice afterwards a huge explosion. Godzilla roared as he emerged from the crevice. Titano then dropped MechaGodzilla onto the ground then charged. Only to be sent backwards by Godzilla's heat ray. Titano roared out in pain as he held his burning face. Godzilal then grabbed the aquatic dinosaur by the neck and begun to strangle him. Godzilla punched Titano in the face then threw him onto a small hut. As Godzilla stomped towards Titano, he unleashed his water beam, sending Godzilla backwards. Godzilla and Titano go into deep combat. Until MechaGodzilla rises. Godzilla accepts him as an ally then the epic battle begins. After a short battle Titano is defeated. Godzilla and MechaGodzilla begin stomping towards him. In one last attempt to live Titano creates a crevice, Godzilla leaps out the way and MechaGodzilla levitates up above it.

Titano falls into the crevice and manages to hang onto the edge. He sees Godzilla moving in on him so he unleashes his water beam. Godzilla manages to dodge the beam then kicks Titano in the face. This causes Titano to lose his grip. Titano lets out one final roar before falling into the crevice. Godzilla watches Titano fall into it then lets out a roar of victory. He turns aroudn to see MechaGodzilla land, Godzilla then approaches him and shakes hands with him. Godzilla then turns and stomps away.

Sorry it's so long.

I also have a few other ideas that i will get up later. Please be give feed back.

^Good idea. I've got an idea myself:

The King's Massacre

Grand King Ghidorah, having regenerated from his wing, returns, attacking Earth without mercy. Mothra Leo immediatly does battle with him. However, this new Ghidorah is too powerful, and Leo eventually is too weakned to continue the fight. Grand Ghidorah keepds up his assault on Japan, but the GDF send in Super Mechagodzilla to battle him. After a long fight, Ghidorah wins, but gets a madly mangled wing. Later, Godzilla emerges from the ocean, challenging King Ghidorah. The two battle for a long time, with Ghidorah at one point carrying Godzilla into space where they keep fighting, and eventually Grand Ghidorah loses his left and right heads. Godzilla then uses his Spiral Beam, destroying Grand King Ghidorah. As Godzilla heads back into the ocean, the camera goes into space and reveals the eyes of a new King Ghidorah.

I've had a vague idea of Godzilla battling with the Four Beasts, though I wouldn't know if it would be in one movie or in a series of movies.

The Four Symbols (Chinese Constellation)
Eastern Azure Dragon of Wood - Manda
Southern Vermillion Bird of Fire - Ookondoru (From Ebirah, Horror of the Deep)
Western White Tiger of Metal – King Caesar
Northern Black Tortoise of Water – Kameobas
Center Yellow Dragon of Earth – Giant Sea Serpent (From King Kong Escapes)

Granted, not all of them align with the colors, but Irys from Gamera wasn't very red, y'know. With this, the monsters would get extra powers related to their element and character expansion.

I thought of something similar except in the Gamera franchise with Gamera being the turtle and the other three cardinal directions being somehow corrupted. Its kinda going off the idea from the third Heisei Gamera movie but actually having the monsters closer to their symbolic representations.

For a Godzilla movie, I though a bit about something where Godzilla is so radiated, he's the cause for marine life mutations. Godzilla: Ocean It would start with Godzilla fighting an (updated) Oodaku in the opening sequence with scientists wondering how an octopus could grow that large. Maybe around a third to half-way in, Godzilla would fight Ebirah and the main characters put the pieces together and discover Godzilla is irradiating the marine life. The final enemy would be a new monster, either something like a mutated Blue Whale (similar to this cloverfield concept http://www.papermag.com/blogs/cloverfie ... icture.jpg) or a mutated glaucus atlanticus (type of sea slug, google for some neat pics), something that would seem like an elegant-looking enemy instead of the common spikes/horns/teeth formula. There may also be room for some other water based kaiju, such as Kamoebos (another mutated marine animal) or Titanosaurus (ally for Godzilla in fighting final monster or if fighting multiple monsters) depending on length, budget, or sequels.
