How can you just suddenly decide the film is now at the top of your list? If you had to have somebody point out it's strength's for you, then they obviously didn't do anything for you before.
It was actually in my top three before that somebody mentioned a very good point...
"When mankind falls into conflict with nature, monsters are born."

WUAB 43 was really the station that focused on Godzilla and Toho films. It was fantastic! Three Stooges in the morning and Giant Monster films in the afternoon. By 6pm, it was time for Star Trek followed by Space 1999. Oh, the good ol' days!
AWW SHIT, WE SHOULD HANG OUT!
My parents, and a few others, made mention Big Chuck and Lil' John aired a few of them, namely vs The Smog Monster. I vaguely remember seeing this. Do you have any recollection?
Yes, Chuck would show Godzilla vs the Smog Monster. I also recall him airing King King vs Godzilla when I was a kid.
It was late 2003 or 2004, I wrote Chuck asking him to air Godzilla vs Monster Zero. He did! FYI - My Uncle is very good friends with Chuck and his family. Maybe that had something to do with it? LOL

How many people out there have a legit copy of Godzilla 1984 ? I have the Japanese R2. I have not seen the Americanized version in roughly 20 years. I know by the number of hits on my Youtube video that a LOT have never seen it. I can also tell by some of the comments too.
I have a bootleg copy I got off of ebay a few years ago. The quality isn't the best but it isn't too bad either. I would love a US DVD release!
