I think Space Godzilla just used Little Godzilla as a way of getting Godzilla to come after him. I don't think he planned on using Little Godzilla for anything, just to get Godzilla angry enough to chase him. I'm sure that if he defeated Godzilla, he probably would have killed Little Godzilla very shortly after that.

Although, there's also the possibility that Spacegodzilla would have used Little Zilla for other purposes, like you said Living Corpse. Spacegodzilla is intelligent enough to reflect and mull over the idea of what to do with the kid after the parent was killed.

That would have been an interesting conversation to listen in on. If she hadn't been under the influence, I'd say it was one of the more creative ideas I've heard.

If you want to anger a parent, the best way is to threaten their child. That's why SG targeted Little Godzilla, and it sure worked to get Godzilla's attention.

Off topic but Mechagodzilla seemed to have a sadistic personallity even before then in his first film. When they ordered it to kill they didn't say how they just told it to kill and he would do it in however way he saw fit, he seemed to love showing off his spinning hand before firing so in a weird sense he was kinda like posing like Gigan does almost like he was saying "draw" as a sort of taunt and he tried shoving his hand down King Caesar's mouth.

Yeah, needless to say, despite being a robot Showa Mechagodzilla's A.I. was good enough to make him emulate a personality and despite being a machine it's pretty clear that thing is just pure evil.
