Spacegodzilla vs Destoroyah

My good friend Destroyer mentioned this once Although many consider Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla to be the weakest of the heisei series, Spacegodzilla is considered to be one the most powerful monsters Godzilla has ever fought. The same can also be said of Destoroyah, for Godzilla never actually defeated him, instead it was the military. But who do you think is the most powerful?

Anyway I've always believed Destroyah is the more powerful. Spacegodzilla is no push-over though.

2. This should be in the Fantasy Matches.

3. Destroyah would win.

4. No joke, Destoroyah would definitely win.

5. There is no way SG can beat him.

This isn't a fantasy match. It's asking which monster is more powerful.

The raw power probaly goes to Spacegodzilla, as well as the potential for power gains.

Spacegodzilla is stronger in the general sense. He's got more potent and versatile ranged attacks. They're pretty equal in melee, though Destoroyah obviously has more potential in this area thanks to the Laser Horn (which he's too stupid to use often or effectively). And as LGM mentioned, SG has the potential to power himself up further.

Destoroyah is harder to completely kill, though.

I've always thought Destoroyah was stronger. He's just such a goddamn tough monster. SpaceGodzilla's no weakling, but I don't think even he could take on Dessy's sheer durability and win.

Koichi Kawakita should be able to proudly sit back and rest easy knowing his particular Toho creations are THE reason many Godzilla fans are anal about the strength of Toho's giant monsters.

Anyway, Destroyah.

In terms of strength? Space Godzilla. Had it not been for Godzilla and MOGUERA teaming up, Space Godzilla would have killed Godzilla and destroy all life on earth. Destoroyah can pose a threat, but I never thought that the fate of the world was in danger with Destoroyah.

I never got that impression. I always felt that even if Godzilla wasn't melting down, Destoroyah would have been taken down in some way. If not by Godzilla, then by the military.

Destoroyah was completely destroying Burning Godzilla, regular form never will have had a chance.

SpaceGodzilla is one tough kaiju, but I'd say Destoroyah's tougher.

I never said Destroyah wasn't kill-able, just that he probably would have had more of a chance of defeating Godzilla if Godzilla wasn't super-powered with out of control radioactivity.

There were times in the battle with Destroyah where Godzilla was seriously being knocked around and very visibly wounded. Look at what the laser horn did. At no point in the battle with Space Godzilla did I EVER feel that Godzilla was in danger of dying.

No, actually Godzilla made him retreat. The military just stopped him from doing so. Though the military is the reason why he died.

Anyway, I'm going with Destroyer. It makes sense for Godzilla's final adversary to be the strongest of that series.

Spacegodzilla doesn't want to destroy life, he wants to control and rule over it as a god. Best way to do that is gain more power. Now guys like Destroyah and King Ghidorah. They want to destroy all life.

If they were to ever fight it'd be interesting to say the least. Both are evil but in different ways. An evil tyrant vs an evil destroyer. How fitting.

Dessy is near indestructible. The Uber Spiral Rays Dessy took would more likely then not destroy SpaceGodzilla, who was hurt by Godzilla's normal ray. Destoroyah is also much more physically powerful. I'd say Dessy is stronger.

All SpaceG has on Dessy is a better beam weapon. Destoryah is superior in every other category.
