As an April Fool's joke Peter Jackson had a production diary where he said he was gonna remake Son of Kong, which was gonna be set in WWII. Son of Kong would fight dinosaurs the Nazis experimented on.

Going back to the original question; no.

Godzilla Junior isn't at all an interesting monster to me. Sure, by 1995 he may look cool, but what else does he really bring to the table?

An endearing "never say die" attitude.

I must have missed that in the movie. Can't really bring myself to care about Junior, so whatever endearing effect he's supposed to have just never does it for me.

That being said, I don't think I'd complain if they ever brought Junior back (hypothetically speaking, of course) but there's plenty more I'd like to see make a return before he does.

I don't know, I feel jr would be a bit out of place in the modern series. Godzilla just doesn't seem the kind to adopt anymore. And if he doesn't adopt, they will have to introduce a female Godzilla. And then the rating would go up a bit.
