Actually it didnt kill Godzilla, it only lessened the damage that Godzilla's meltdown would have caused.

Irrelevant. Godzilla still died. I should probably ammend that mission goal to "minimize destruction resulting from Godzilla's death" as at no time was it supposed to kill him, just stop him from destroying the planet.

Effectiveness/success-wise, the Super X-III, but either Super-Mechagodzilla or M.O.G.U.E.R.A. is my favorite.

How is that irrelevant? I just corrected your mistake.

What does that mean? You're guilty of this...which probably explains why you specifically responded to it..

I don't know if you are acting stupid or something.....

In any case, SMG IS my favourite Heisei mech. But I explained how he was more dangerous with logic. Even if the logic was flawed, I wasn't using favourititsm as you seem to imagine.

or you just simply hate my guts.

Guts? Not the word I would put it.

I could care less either way

You could care less......yeah, sure.

Yeah I kinda noticed that too. LGM, you clearly said something that was wrong, you acknowledged you were wrong and you went back and corrected it. Why was telling telling Loinblaze his contribution was irrelevant necessary?

It's irrelevant in the sense that it successfully completed it's mission. The specifics of what the mission was, exactly, is just details.

Success is success, regardless of the goal.

Cuz the second part of my post was a different train of thought from the first. I just didn't go and change what I was saying.

I like the Super X's throughout the HEISEIera (Especially the silver saucer first one)
I honestly didn't care for any of the actual Mechas. All of them were rather lame I felt (with Mechagodzilla by far being the worst design).

Yes, but which do you think was the best at doing what it was sought out to do; destroy Godzilla.

If best is measured by success, then that's SMG. The Super X3 also managed to defeat Godzilla in battle, so it's included.

Last I checked, Godzilla still lives at the end of that movie, and SMG is nowhere...

Yes, but only for Rodan's interference. SMG crippled Godzilla, rendering him unable to move. Godzilla would have been a sitting duck had Rodan not given him the energy to heal his sacral brain.

And had Godzilla not had regenerative powers, the military would have killed him before he even reached downtown Tokyo in The Return of Godzilla. See? I can play the what-if game too.
