This sounds like the prefect movie to me. I love ancient alien movies like Prometheus, and adding in Godzilla is just the gravy. I would focus more on the aliens/ sci fi aspects, but sadly Godzilla fans did not like that in the anime, and many Alien fans wished Prometheus was about the xenomorph. In my mind, we have so many xenomorph/Godzilla movies, we should be wanting something different.

Then again, I am still pissed at Alien Covenant for not following the Engineers and disregarding Alien lore. So what do I know?

This thing sounds amazing and I really want to see it. Wish it was made nowadays.

Added in 1 minute 43 seconds:
Just think about it: this is the perfect time for this film to be made. We are on an age were Toho seems to be making a lot of experimental Goji films, first they gave us Shin, then they gave us Earth, I don't think God's Angry Messenger is too much out there.

As whacked out as this whole thing sounds, I like the sound of it! This is coming from someone that thought Evangelion was absolute trash too. I loved the bioweapon take on Godzilla and that is forever something I will loathe GINO for, replacing a great idea like that. This take on Godzilla with all of this symbolism sounds interesting, especially the allusions to the Cold War as Godzilla movies always adapted for the times.

What. The actual. Skreoonk.

This is the only way to even describe this. Why do i feel like Toho rejected this because they got too weirded out by how crazy it is? Because that's probably what happened.

I won't lie of all the unmade Godzilla movies this is the one I think about the most. Makes me wish it could be realized in some way, even if it was just a comic book adaptation or something. I love all the spiritual and esoteric concepts that go with the idea. Powerful imagery.

I love ancient aliens/religious tie ins to ancient aliens stuff, like Lovecraft's work, Prometheus, etc etc. I would have loved this movie for sure, I am so disappointed the film was never made. That alien Christ character seems super freaky also. Man this is like my dream movie.

Prometheus is one of the most underappreciated films of recent memory.
I really wish God's Godzilla had been made, sounds like my kind of movie

Interestingly weird concept, but if this was made, you can bet Christians would throw the Father of all fits if this were made with its Evil Jesus conceit, especially since this was created at the dawn of the Jerry Fawell and Pat Roberson era of the Moral Majority.

It intrigues me just how bizarre this movie sounds, I would have loved to have seen its surreal visuals and Godzilla's design in it. I did my best to try and bring it to life with Midjourney AI but it was by far the most difficult AI photos I've ever worked with, but I hope it is still something you guys can enjoy non-the less, it's the closest thing to seeing this weird movie come to life.

Probably it's connection to The Return Of Godzilla. I find the premise fascinating, and I think someone like Akio Jissoji would have been the best choice to direct it if they ever did it. Like a New Age Shin Godzilla.

While I am not big on the use of AI for this kind of stuff, I am intrigued by the images you showed. Pretty hellish, and some images are just outright strange, but thank you for uploading this.

Can't believe I haven't heard of this before. Definitely seems up Anno's alley.

No problem lol, I think AI should just be for fun and an additional tool that in no way replaces the real artist. I really would like to travel to another universe where this was made, I feel like Godzilla's design could have looked like a sleek mix between 84 and GMK with Nirasawa's concept design for Final Wars, which I think also could have fit with the unmade pitch for a Godzilla movie by Clive Barker in the mid 90s.

Toho should maybe use this as a basis for a future version of Ghidorah.

Because the appeal of this type of production is how wild a concept it would be for Godzilla.

The appeal comes from that, it being dubiously Showa and Heisei, wondering how Godzilla's design would have looked like and how surreal it's visuals would get plus the polarizing crowd reaction it would get.

Because I like my Godzilla and Christianity seperate and have no desire seeing Jesus use Godzilla or Ghidorah to destroy the Earth.

I don't mind creating a prophet in fiction if you what but I feel it's too much flack trying to use religious characters in film and then change how they were in religious texts or make analogies to them.
