What is going to happen if somebody (possibly some mad scientist) was responsible for destroying Earth?

Wouldn't Battra shows up if there is a culprit (such as some insane mad scientist) responsible for harming the environment or/& even destroying Earth (possibly due to some experimental inventions/devices made) & what would Battra do if he/it finds out the culprit behind this (in the Heisei Godzilla film series)?

Battra is a huge bloodthirsty monster, there aren't a ton of things he can do.

Battra is implied to protect the earth in a generic, save nature, not humanity kind. So I suppose if there was an evil mech, he would defend the earth, but not humanity.

If Battra was still around, the monster would go on the attack. Everyone and everything in the monster's path would be doomed. As has been said, Battra protects the Earth, not people.
