Which was your favorite Heisei Movie and Monster?

Godzilla vs Biollante takes the cake. A fresh story, impressive special effects, and Godzilla's coolest opponent. Seeing Biollante's rose form on that misty lake is chilling, and its later transformation is easily the most awe-inspiring creature in a Godzilla film.

This. It really is the only Godzilla film where it really felt like things were going to go in a different direction in terms of content, structure, and creativity in effects and design. I mean, we know how that turned out, but man, it sure was a breath of fresh air the first time around.

My favorite Heisei monster is Battra, but my favorite Heisei (and Kaiju) film is Gamera 3.
Nothing can compare, it's the most exciting movie I've ever seen.

Movie and monster have to go to Biollante. Her final form was so grotesque and sick, and actually a little frightening with all them teeths.

Favorite movie would be Godzilla 1985. It's the only Heisei film I managed to watch a second time without getting bored out of my mind.

Favorite monster would be a toss up between Mothra and Moguera. And maybe Shokirus (for the sheer novelty of a mutant monster sea louse).

Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2. Dont really know what it is, i just really enjoy that movie. Favorite monster is Destroyah though. He kicks all kind of ass. Biollante's awesome too though. This is excluding the Gamera movies, because G3 takes the cake with that.

My favorite was easyly Battra, especially in larval form, great design, thought it didnt put up as much of a fight as Biollante or Destoroyah

Favorite Monster: I love Biollante- the premise is great, although my favorite monster would have to be King Ghidorah. I've always thought that he was just the coolest thing. (Because who doesn't like a three-headed dragon that spits lightening).

Monster: Mecha-King Ghidora. Alongside Biollante, the cyborg from the future is Toho's most innovative and exciting monster creation from this period, and remains the most badass incarnation of Ghidora since the Showa series' "Destroyer of Worlds".

Movie: Godzilla vs. King Ghidora. A nostalgic and Showa-esque thrill ride, it contributes one of the coolest monster fights of the 90s, an immensely entertaining time travel plot, and even a detailed origin story for the Big G. My favorite of the Heisei series and of all of the films post-1975, with Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1993) a close second.

Favorite Monster: Biollante. The Mothra design is weak.
Favorite Movie: Godzilla vs Biollante. I haven't watched Godzilla 1985 though.
