Which was your favorite Heisei Movie and Monster?

Its been ages since I've seen a Heisei Godzilla movie, but based on memories I'd have to go with
Godzilla vs. Biollante as my favorite movie, and Biollante as my favorite monster.

Favorite Monster: Miki's shape shifting hair (I theorize that her ears consume it for sustenance)
Favorite Movie: Bambi vs. Godzilla

Favorite Film: Either GvKG or GvB

It's been years since I've seen most of them, well over a decade in Godzilla 1985's case. From what I remember, though:

Movie: Godzilla vs. Biollante. Features one of my favorite G-suits, features Biollante herself, has a unique and interesting score, and various other reasons. A likeable movie all around. Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah is second place.

Monster: A harder call. In general, I'm not a big fan of this era's beam-spamming tank kaiju. I generally prefer more energetic, close-quarter fighters. I suppose Biollante gets my vote here, too. She has a really unconventional, stand-out design among Toho monsters, and some cool powers. I really like the vine-tentacles, and the acid sap is a different and appropriate choice for the obligatory ranged weapon. Battra, concept-wise at least, gets second place.

HARD call for favorite movie, but I'd have to say Godzilla vs Biollante with Godzilla vs Destoroyah in a close second place...

As far as Heisei monsters are concerned, Biollante holds the title of favourite for me.

Monster: Either Biollante or Destroyah. I loved how Biollante looked in the movie, she looked like something that was created at Stan Winston's studio. As for Destroyah I just like how sinister he looked.

Movie: Godzilla vs Biollante. Mainly due to Nostalgia, it's the first Heisei movie I saw as a kid.

Movie: Godzilla vs. Biollante, for its handling of a unique ethical scenario through the varied perspectives of an ensemble cast, plus the excellent handling of Godzilla's solo scenes and the surreal beauty of Biollante. Also, for one of my favorite scenes in any movie ever: the reveal of the psychic children's drawings of Godzilla.

One of the most powerful Godzilla scenes without even including the king himself. Hair-raising foreshadowing at its finest.

Love when he gets free from the volcano as well.

And when the military is setting up for that heat-wave weapon, and the oldschool Godzilla music from the '60's plays.

I love the psychic kid scene, too. I almost wish more were done with the psychics instead of some of the military stuff.

Monster - Godzilla, specifically the 1989 version.

Movie - Godzilla vs Biollante.

Funny, they're both my favorites of two categories: Godzilla '89 for a version of Godzilla and for movie from the entire series, it's Godzilla vs Biollante. lol.

Monster: Fire Rodan, and obviously Godzilla.
Movie: Godzilla Vs Biollante is pretty much the best of this era.

Monster: Mothra Leo. Fire Rodan is pretty cool too, but it's too tiny for my liking.
Movie: Godzilla vs Biollante, beautifully done if somewhat slow. Easily in my top four of best Godzilla movies.

And that's really hard to choose. vs. Destroyah, vs. Mothra, vs. King Ghidorah are some of my favorite Godzilla movies.
