Scrapped Monster: Bio monster

Post by Godzillian »

So one idea for a film was "Godzilla vs Bio Monster", no plot details are known other then G-force would have created the biomonster. The beast itself was going to have g-cells grafted onto it. The idea was dropped in favor of Godzilla vs Destroyah.

That was the idea! It was made to be like a modern Frankenstein. Biomonster's skin was created with an enhanced version of G-Cells, so he's pretty tough. The movie was to end with a "double suicide" with Godzilla and Biomonster.

Gargantua look alike in the Heisei series? Would have been interesting, but not as the film to close out the saga.

Now that sounds like an interesting ending

Personally, I think this would work better as a Gamera enemy

Eh. Don't really see how. Really think the only way a monster like this works is with Frankenstein/Gargantuas or maybe as an Ultraman villain.

This giant looks like he could star in his own movie. Maybe like the Varan/ War of the Gargantuas of the Heisei era.

I can think of a few scenarios with this beast fighting Gamera, it's all about presentation ;)

I guess kaiju with human-like faces are just very unappealing to me.

Yep. And to be honest, it just wouldn't fit.
Could make for a good sequel to GMillenium tho.

Sounds good, kinda reminds of Logan.

2000 or vs. Megaguirus?

2000, of course. The "man made g-cells creature" concept sounds like a logical continuation.

VsMegaguirus was an embarrassment.

Too be honest It looks really awkward in my head picturing this monster fight Gamera it Godzilla, I think giving this thing a gorilla posture and standing upright on an occasion could work for me.

I can imagine Jet Jaguar having his own movie fighting this guy. :D

I definitely got Frankenstein's monster vibes from seeing this. I think that was honestly the intention and inspiration.

I honestly love this concept. The idea of Godzilla fighting a jacked up cyborg human/Kaiju hybrid is outrageous and yet amazing.

I heard somewhere about the fear factor of creatures with human features:

When we see them, we see ourselves. Remind us about a fear deep inside our subconscious/unconscious mind about what will happen to us if we let our feral side dominate us. The fear itself would not shown directly like that. We will just fear the monster without reason other than it pose an immediate danger

Deep. Personally, I thought it was to do with the uncanny valley.
