Unmade Films Discussion - Godzilla: King of the Monster 3-D

Post by SonOfGorgo »

What do you think of America's first attempt at producing a Godzilla film? Do you wish it got made instead? Are you glad it never saw the light of day? Please feel free to express your thoughts and opinions in the comment section down below. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing! I didn't know they were wanting to do Rodan as a follow-up. I love reading up on lost projects like this.

I'm surprised that not a lot of Godzilla fans know about this one, it's mostly overshadowed by the 1994 Jan De Bont Godzilla project.

I downloaded the script for it a few months ago so I've yet to read it and have a concrete opinion on it. If I'm not mistaken, it's been posted here before, right?

To me it would have been a very "Hollywood" kind of movie, but I think one that would have avoided GINO's mistakes.
