Does anyone know what hardware/software Centropolis and such used for GODZILLA? I have listened to audio commentaries and read stuff and I cannot find the names of the machines or softwares anywhere.

I think I read somewhere that they used Softimage.

It's really not much of a question though because most big budget movies use either Maya or Softimage for their pipeline software.
Lightwave used to be big several years ago for T.V. and some film work. Some of the Star Wars special edition CG stuff was done with it too.
But it's kind of fallen out of favor over the years.

I think it's listed somewhere in the end credits.
