Gotta see that manga. Out of all the monsters to have regeneration added to their list of powers years later to cover up SFX booboos Biollante makes the most sense.

I mean she's a plant, plant monsters grow back/regenerate all the time in works of fiction.
Theres excerpts of it on the main site, including the head regeneration scene. The Manga, based on what I've read, follows the film very closely unlike the ones after it.
