Godzilla's first appearance at the power plant in The Return of Godzilla, with the slow pan up revealing how huge Godzilla really is. Epic music, too.

Godzilla rises from Mt. Mihara in Godzilla vs. Biollante

King Ghidorah lands, leading to a shot of Godzilla facing him. Both creatures seem animalistic and actually kind of scary - and of course, the battle that ensues is the best of the Heisei series IMO. Godzilla vs. King Ghdiroah

Godzilla blasts his atomic ray at Rodan from beneath the ocean. Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla

A full grown Godzilla Jr appears in the fog. Godzilla vs. Destroyah

There's this pretty interesting shot in Biollante, where Godzilla and Biollante fighting in the lake is reflected in the window of the command center as the characters watch on.

And who could forget, "What?! Godzilla's attacking the city!?".

In the English dub of MechaG II, they discuss how long MG will be in repairs.

Then the commander goes: "Damn! I hope were not too late...Son of a bitch!"

Oh and who can forget: "What!? Where the hell is that jackass?"

The most swearing I've heard in Godzilla movie.

-Whenever the Battra Larva starts to attack Godzilla in the water fight scene and one of the guys on the ship says "Oh no! They're getting pissed off!"

-Whenever Biollante bites Godzilla's head and makes that terrifying snarl noise

-When MOGUERA explodes (One of my favorite Kaiju, but it had one of the best deaths)

-Godzilla's Melt down... always get a chill down my spine

Godzilla vs. Mothra:
When Godzilla emerges from an erupting Mt. Fuji. Just an epic way to announce Godzilla!
When Mothra emerging from her cocoon. With the twins singing, the scene has a very serene tone.

Godzilla vs. Biollante:
When Miki attempts to divert Godzilla by psychic link is pretty cool. I love the way the music drops out, Godzilla turns and slowly approaches Miki, and you only hear the high pitched whine while they are connecting.

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla:

Probably my favorite scene in the entire Heisei series, when Godzilla is resurrected by Fire Rodan. I love the way Godzilla is powering up with Akira Ifukube saving Godzilla's full theme for the final battle between G and MG! Watching that scene for the first time gave me chills! I kind of knew MG was about to eat it at that point.

Godzilla vs. Destroyah:

Godzilla in his final meltdown scene. The music really sold the scene with such a sad tone. Another nice job by Ifukube!

Destroyah spiting/coughing/puking blood as Godzilla tears him a new one for harming his son. Pretty sure Showa never got that graphic, even in the few times they did have blood.

Battra using a Ferris wheel as a weapon. We've seen monsters use boulders as weapons plenty of times in Showa, but I think this is the only time in the 90's we see them use an object as a weapon.

In G85, the flash light beam hitting the Shockiras before it attacks.

The brief moment of recognition between Godzilla and Shindo in G vs KG.

The crew of the Soviet sub looking up as they wait for the unknown object (Godzilla) to collide and kill them. Gives me the chills.

"Damn. It's Godzilla." -Terrorist dude from GvsB.

"All this intravenous stuff's no good for you. Stick to smoking!" Soldier dude from GvsB.

"My God, what is that?!" followed by Godzilla's epic emergence from the ocean in GvsKG.

My favorite Heisei moments were,

- Godzilla making landfall in Hokkaido in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah
- MechaGodzilla's first launch from Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla
- Land Mogera and Star Falcon aiding Godzilla in Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla
- Godzilla rampaging through Hong Kong from the beginning of Godzilla vs. Destoroyah

#1. When Godzilla feeds on the nuclear energy an his spines light up.. Esp with the music is Epic
#2. When Godzilla awaken's an chases the Super-X
#3. When Godzilla falls in the Volcano an you hear the final screech before he disappears.

Godzilla vs Biollante
#1. Then the children are asked what there dreaming of an all the kids hold up pictures of Godzilla an the theme kicks in
#2. Godzilla rising from the Volcano is just Epic
#3. Godzilla fighting the Super-X 2
#3. Godzilla first fight with Biollante
#4. Godzilla's Final Fight with Biollante

Godzilla vs King Ghidorah
#1. Godzilla attacking the nuclear sub, right before rising again the surface
#2. Godzilla's first fight with KG
#3. Godzilla blasting the Alien ship right as the Window opens

#5. The very end, where Godzilla's eyes an spines light up an he shoots his atomic breath

#1. When Godzilla rises from the Volanco/Ground i forgot exactly how that went... but that scene was great

#2. Rodan getting his ass handed to him by Mecha-Godzilla
#3. Godzilla an Mecha-Godzilla's final fight,
#4. When Rodan gives what's left of his life an energy to revive Godzilla

Godzilla vs Destroyah
#1. Godzilla Jr's first fight with Destroyah (Also glad he actually looks like Godzilla now)
#2. Godzilla is Hong Kong was a nice change
#3. When they use the freeze ray or something an Godzilla's face just turns to ice.. that a cool scene
#4. Godzilla's final fight with Destroyah
#5. When the smoke clear's, an you see an Godzilla's radiation revived Godzilla Jr who is now an adult.

As much as that is a great scene, and no doubt Ifukube IS the man when it comes to the Godzilla music, I really think if this was made into the film, it would had been a little bit more powerful:

I know its like a little fan promo for LP's Godzilla, but the 84-91 roar and the Hans Zimmer/Dark Knight music REALLY fits.

(Godzilla vs Biollante) Biollante running. She was pretty fast for such a big kaiju.

(Godzilla vs King Ghidorah) Godzilla finally single-handily beats Ghidorah after 25+ years of waiting for a one on one showdown.

(Godzilla and Mothra) Where Godzilla and Battra both fall into the sea and Mothra flies away.

(Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2) Resurrection of Godzilla.

(Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla) The cosmic saurian is finally beat.

(Godzilla vs Destroyah) Three way tie between death of Junior, death of Godzilla, and revival of Jr.
