Well we know that at least two people own it, so it has seen the light of day... I'm sure there could be more out there. Unfortunately, according to Brian, the features are not listen on the packaging of the extras-filled version, so it is literally impossible to know if you've gotten it unless you stick the disk in and check the menus.

Well i dont know about the rest of you guys, but Im not about to buy every Godzilla vs Megalon DVD to see if the disc has extras or not. Its like an easter egg hunt, a total crap shoot.
Maybe a bar code # ? I posted on Media Blasters Facebook page, I wonder if they will respond.

I wonder if this was something like a few copies made prior to the issues MB and Toho had, which slipped through the cracks and have made it into the hands of a few.

Well, since the cat's out of the bag now: I got one that had the extras and the commentary. I PM'd Keith about it and we have been e-mailing back and forth about it and he checked with Media Blasters and they were surprised by the news. I went to him first because I didn't want to be accused of making stuff up.

If you think I'm lying: ask Keith. I sent him specs to prove I had it.

I ordered it from amazon on September 13th, got it September 27 and it shipped a few days before that.

To tell the truth: I almost wet myself when I saw I had the extras.

The way I see it, this may ne MB rare opportunity to redeem themselves, since they gave no indication of adding the extras at any time, they should offer a free DVD replacement program for anyone who already purchased it (ala Discotek, Millcreek etc..) . Just to be clear, this isn't coming from a selfish feeling of entitlement, its just about gaugint to see if MB can do "the right thing", if not, then I certainly am not going to double-dip in an attemopt to get the extras.

EDIT: Turns out a friend of mine ended up with a copy. Looks like I'll get my hands on the extras after all!

I originally said way back when that MB are so set on releasing a feature-laden edition because the copies of it are already made. So if people are getting versions with extras, then MB either pulled another DAM, or I was RIGHT!!!!

yes now was the time toho decided they will allow extras so for the people who pre ordered, i feel sorry for you. you got the ones without toho's approval with no extras. the ones now have extras.
