Legion1979 wrote:I just can't see this series ever getting released in this country. It's incredibly obscure first off, and Godzilla only appears in 5 episodes. The market for something like this just isn't there, and I can't imagine a full series release for the show being very profitable at all. I'd rather see more Ultra series get a shot at a release here (Ultra Q and Seven especially) than Zone Fighter.

Iron King and Red Baron are FAR more obscure and also lack the draw of Godzilla (5 eps is 5 eps), and they still managed to get DVD releases.

Did Mill Creek (or preexisting distributer) buy the rights to both of those series through TBS & Nippon respectively? Or did they just buy the rights from an American distributer who's rights have yet expired?
I'm seriously asking this question because that's where the probability of this series being released on R1 lies.

I would like to help support this cause. So I'm wondering how persistent I should be. Also, when should I send the letter? Someone mentioned it would be a better idea if all the letters came in at once, and I agree.
