All he was saying is that nothing lasts forever.

Dear Echo Bridge Home Entertainment,
My name is *insertnamehere*. I understand that Echo Bridge has acquired the rights to release select Miramax titles on home media for region one customers (Canada and the United States of America). I am writing because of one of these titles in particular, Godzilla vs. Biollante, is a title I (and many fans) am truly hoping gets released on DVD and Blu-Ray. Godzilla vs. Biollante is a Japanese science-fiction film and part of the famous Godzilla franchise. Miramax originally released this film on VHS in 1992. Needless to say, the VHS is out-of-print, and being on VHS it's a media format that is out of date in the contemporary world. Thus, it can be difficult to find and again is a format that few people still use.
Many of the fans would support English language subtitles that correspond to the Japanese language audio. This is important because Toho does provide English subtitles for English language film releases of their Japanese-language films. However, these subtitles are very “hit and miss” in terms of quality. Sometimes they are accurate, other times the subtitles are word-for-word transcripts of the English dub. This can be detrimental because dubbing has to compromise the original meaning of the foreign script to better accommodate lip-synch.
Godzilla vs. Biollante is a highly acclaimed film among fans of the Godzilla films and Japanese science fiction, and due to the VHS being out-of-print and the movie never getting an official DVD or Blu-Ray release it is even more sought after. Fans have wanted a DVD/Blu-Ray for this film for a very long time. Unfortunately, some fans have even gone to the lengths of purchasing bootleg versions of the movie in order to see it on a contemporary format. If Echo Bridge gave this film the appropriate treatment, the fan base can be expected to respond in kind and pay for it. Thank you for any consideration.
Sincerely,
