New Godzilla Blu ray listings (G 1985, Final Wars, GvsM 64)

I am not going to believe that he had only 12 minutes unless you can procure a reliable source, because when I watched it recently, it seemed like at least 15 minutes, probably more.

I don't need "a source". Watch the movie yourself with a stop watch if you don't want to believe me. It's 12 minutes.

Even going beyond that. I remember a site or post that had the total screentime for all Monsters in GFW. Some of them (Kamacuras, Hedorah, and maybe Kumonga) were less than 1 minute-pretty sad. What was this thread about again

Look at Kitamura's other work. It involves dudes in make-up doing massive amounts of 1970s Hong Kong film style Kung Fu with little to no story.

Blu-ray.com has listings like those in case there will be an actual Blu-ray release. These aren't official. We likely won't get Blu-rays of these until the LGP reboot comes out and that's IF it comes out.

It has plenty of listings for films with no known upcoming BRD release. Cannibal Holocaust for instance.

Ironically this is the Godzilla BRD we can pretty much expect. Godzilla 1985 ain't happenin' anytime soon, and at best we might get GFW, MvG, and some others with the theatrical release of LPG. As of us, none of us are aware of official plans for them.

Megalon was scheduled to receive a DVD and BRD release late last year but after the issues Media Blasters and Toho had the DVD is the only thing so far to have survived. We are getting a bare bones Megalon DVD scheduled for August 14th (just a month away!) and MB has stated their continued interest in having a BRD version down the road but no guarantees.

So short answer: no Megalon BRD.

I'd be more disappointed if, judging from the DAM release, it looked like the detail would have been that much better on the Blu-Ray. From what I understand, it wasn't that great.
