Re: Battle of the Multiverse Hub
Though his dead puppets are his favoured servants and the mummy like service robots being more dangerous then they look, the Mel’akh are possibly Sutekh’s most dangerous minions.
They are descended from the Great Vampires, titanic and terrible monsters who stole the energy of entire planets and their populations to prolong their lives. They created more traditional vampires to serve them but at some point the Mel’akh were created.
There are two types of Mel’akh by diet. The Djinn, who fed on humans and were beautiful to behold, and the Grotesque, who fed on their own kind and became ape-like monsters. The Mal’akh were almost impossible to kill due to their extreme regenerative healing abilities. Any organic object could be simply assimilated into the Mal'akh body and rendered harmless; upon contact with a Mal’akh, many non-organic objects would start to rust or fall apart after a few minutes. It was also very difficult to tell when they had actually died, so it was standard practice to bury them alive, leaving to mummify in the earth.
A number of their kind have taken to worshiping Sutekh as their deity and are fanatically loyal to him.

There was a little mistake there wasn’t there. I’d totally forgotten about Ammit haha. Thankfully I had an good enough in story reason for Sutekh’s screw up.

Re: Battle of the Multiverse Hub
Hope there's not a problem with Jake having some prior information on Sutekh. I was even thinking that he might have somehow had a conversation or conversations with the Doctor.
Also, Jake calling him Seth is absolutely a form of snark. Considering how on Jake's world it is formal to refer to people by their title and the "common name" is the least formal, you can probably put things together from there.

How long has it been? I honestly forgot.

Re: Battle of the Multiverse Hub
I can't see there being too much wrong with Jake knowing a little bit about Sutekh.

I think it’s fine. A lot of characters have varying levels of knowledge on him anyway.

Sorry about no update on my end. I’m currently been doing a lot of hoping round China the last two days and am getting ready for my flight home tomorrow. As soon as I’m back I’ll get my next post up. The flight should give me time to think it up.

Re: Battle of the Multiverse Hub
Really really great. I’ve went because it has some of the best paleontological museums in the world. So I’ve been travelling around the country for ten days to see them along with a few other historical sites and museums. Last few day have been rough though as I’ve had to drive, train and fly back to Beijing for my flight home.Godzilla165 wrote:Oh Nice! Re: Battle of the Multiverse Hub
Sorry for lagging behind, I have not flaked. I'm writing a book series and marathoning Halloween movies with someone special, both of which I probably should have warned you about. With the former, I just got hit with a wave of inspiration.

Re: Battle of the Multiverse Hub
No worries. It’s funny you mentioned Halloween, because my wife and have have been binging some Elm Street and Halloween over the last few days. It was hard to get her onboard with the idea, though .
