Gororo whimpered as he held his in injured eye. That stupid nobody had made a mockery, well he'd show him. As he got to his feet, the dome-head gathered a clump of dirt and debris in his free hand. As he got up,he turned to Anguirus and threw it at his face, hoping to blind him. Anguirus however had been wise to the trick and ducked his head in time. Enraged by the cheap tactic, he pounced on Gororo, knocking the thug to the ground once more. But as he was about to lay into the "elite" a bolt of electricity struck him in the side, knocking him of Gororo.

Aroro turned to his attacker, enraged. "You can't do that!" she yelled. Mororo, the one who had blasted Anguirus, simple turned to her and opened his mouth. Thick streams of silk erupted forth and began covering Aroro. She tried to use her flame breath to counter the attack, but her mouth was already to entangled to open. Soon she was covered from head to tail in silk that pinned her in place. Mororo then turned back to Anguirus and Gororo. "Well I think even a walnut brained primitive like yourself gets what will happen if you try to fight back any more."

The Dinosaur Kingdom

"Ahh!" Yamato winced as he watched the scene unfold, and the fight turn unfair. "You said this was a one-on-one duel they were engaged in?!" He had some anger in his voice, and he wasn't liking where this was going.

"And it sounds like these two are breaking the rules of their own culture..." Cole said, his own anger rising from seeing the unfairness of this. But he had to decide whether to become involved, or to bolt and get himself and Yamato out of there. He did get one piece of information though, these things would do anything to win it would seem. "I don't know how much good it'll do to get involved, but we have some intel. These things will fight any way they have to in order to win... Yamato, you get going, now, and don't argue with me." Cole then began to walk towards the fight going on.

"What are you going to do?" Yamato asked as he reluctantly turned to make his way to the giant hole that Aroro and Anguirus had used to enter the Dinosaur Kingdom.

"As much as I am an outsider, I can't stand and watch this any further..." He then pulled his transformation device out, and looked back to Yamato once more. "I'm going to jump in, right this instant. It's going to get messy, and I can't have you around or I won't be able to fight as effectively." He then continued to walk while Yamato reluctantly made his way back to where they had come from. "DRABORG!" Cole called out, raising the device into the air, opened it, and placed it against his chest. "DRAGON RISE!" He called out as the device transformed him, when it was done, he rose several meters in height, left fist up in the air, growth burst by growth burst until he was at his full height of 70 meters. "Of all the planets I've been..." He said as he walked towards Mororo the Monoclonius, raising his hands up to the thumb claws on his wings, revealing them to be handles of a sword contained in each wing, and pulled them out. "There's always been a few constants, and bullies who don't care about even their own rules are one of them. A constant I'll have to fight at all points it seems. I've watched this long enough, gave you a chance to show some nobility, but this has been little more than a public execution." He then put himself into a battle stance, swords at the ready. "It's time to put some bullies in their place!"

Mongolia

Walterrus let out a roar as the nuclear pulse was emitted from his body, moving his now freed left arm out to the side with his right, turning much of the sand around him for about 150 meters into glass from the sheer heat of the attack. While Iguno, who had been thrown from the attack was sent skidding several more meters away, kicking up sand and dust, and scorched from the attack as well. Walterrus then reached up with his right arm to feel just how much damage had been done to his left shoulder. Thankfully, the socket hadn't been damaged enough to dislocate it or otherwise disable it. He'd have to worry about that later and let his regenerative ability fix the damage done. He was thankful about the pulse, having used it only a few times before. Now he had to think about what he was going to do next, as Iguno had proven to be aware of his own attack's weakness, and how to get at his arms. It then hit him, the beast could leap, but couldn't do anything else while in the air. Walterrus then slammed his tail down, smashing some of the glass behind him with the force of it. He'd use his tail the next time Iguno leapt at him, all he had to do was time it right. Iguno was already starting to get up, and Walterrus prepared another blast as his spines began to flash. At least he might get to hit him before having to use his powerful tail.

It was then that Byakkan leapt onto a rock outcropping up higher, and let out a roar of her own. She looked with horror though at the damage that had been done to Walterrus, though the dragon had managed some damage on the Iguanodon. She growled angrilly at Iguno, warning him to back down, or face the both of them and their fury.

"AHHH!" Yoko cried out as she reached behind her head, covering a now fresh cut that covered her hands in crimson.

"YOKO!" Kensugi cried out as he pulled the car over, stopped it, and went to examine the wound. "My god, what's that talisman doing to you?!! You have to get rid of it!"

"It's too late..." Yoko gasped as she winced in pain. "I'm not sure how, but I don't think taking it away from me will help... I'm linked to Gamera, and I feel his pain..."

"We can't go to Fukuoka." Kensugi said sternly, "Not while you're taking any injuries he's taking. You need to go to the hospital!"

"And have them do what?" Yoko replied in frustration, "They won't be able to stop any new injuries, even if they can treat the current ones... We have to get going again..."

"Alright..." Kensugi said with a sigh, and began driving once more. He didn't like this one bit, not one bit at all.

Hakata Bay

Gojira's spines continued to cut through the water, and people evacuating watched as the seemingly familiar sight came closer to the waterfront. Some were wondering if this was Godzilla, and in a way, they were right...

Then, the spines stopped moving, and a massive tail rose out of the water, confirming to many people what they already suspected.
"GODZILLAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" They screamed out as water cascaded off of the mountain of brownish-grey flesh, and Gojira rose out of the water with a snort, his gills closing up.

He then began his approach to the docks, already seeing the full devastation that was happening in the heart of the city. He needed to hurry, and end this as soon as he could.

Godzilla shrieked in response to Gigan's challenge, but as Godzilla moved forward to attack, Gigan would feel an immense sharp pain at the base of his neck. While he was challenging Godzilla, Gamera recovered from Gigan's initial attack and clamped his tusked maw around Gigan's neck from behind, avoiding the latter' spines. Gamera grabbed Gigan's closest scythe and restrained that arm from attacking as he used his free hand to grab Gigan's beak, clamping it shut.

Gamera would then thrush his weight upon Gigan, forcing the bizarre alien back and bulldozing him through an already damaged building. Meanwhile Godzilla took advantage of his enemies preoccupation with one another to unleash a sea of green flame from it's jaws that swallowed both Gamera and Gigan, igniting the ground beneath them on fire. Godzilla would keep spewing flames while slowly approaching the two monsters.

------

Kuronuma stared at the events unfolding before him in utter surprise, he had not expected so many other monsters to appear, as though they where drawn by conflict. He recognized two of the monsters; the turtle creature that had slaughtered the cybernetic dinosaur and Gigan, the assassin-like cyborg of the Xiliens. Kuronuma scowled, he viewed these beings as scum worthy of nothing but contempt.

Furthermore they had come for HIS planet, the planet where his dying people would find salvation from the Black Hole. He was not about to lie idly by and allow them and their pet to snatch this world from his grasp. For a moment he briefly considered allying with the giant turtle, and by ally he meant "ignore for the time being to attack Gigan", but he knew that MechaGodzilla would inevitably come into conflict with the turtle once Gigan was destroyed.

Kuronuma turned an eye to stare at a metallic blue button on his command console next to the speaker he uses to relay orders to MechaGodzilla. Once activated, this button would burn away what was left of the robot's tattered flesh-suit and bring MechaGodzilla's full arsenal to bear and give the robot a significant advantage. Kuronuma's gloved hand hovered over the button, holding it there in hesitation...

Gigan shrieked in pain as the yellow flames danced around his body, searing his skin. But he also realized he had an opportunity, and delivered a powerful elbow to Gamera’s stomach, causing the turtle to involuntarily release his grip on the cyborg. Taking his chance, Gigan turned sharply and drove one of his scythes right into Gamera’s chest, before kicking off of the turtle and taking to the air.

“Godzilla” stared blankly at the turtle before his attention returned to Gigan, who promptly plummeted back down and drove his two scythes down onto “Godzilla’s” head at the same time.

The imposter stumbled a bit from the blow before collapsing backwards into the wreckage of a building. Turning behind him, he saw Gamera regaining his footing. Realizing now that the turtle was the far more important threat here, he quickly unleashed another volley of crimson energy bolts towards the titan, causing multiple explosions to wrack Gamera’s body, which promptly collapsed to the ground again.

Gigan uttered a chirping laugh. He had hoped Earth would’ve put up more of a challenge than this.

Gojira was now on the docks making his way in, avoiding unnecessary damage on the way. If anything got damaged, it was because it was in his way and he had no time to carefully navigate this city. He could see that there was a distinct set of sides in the battle, two dinosaurs that looked like they were out of this time period, a weird looking alien that reeked of the unnatural, a creature that looked like a Gojiran but was so badly damaged with its skin that it was clearly a robot inside. That, and he couldn't sense anything alive about it. Then there was Gamera, the one monster who stood taller than him. He knew enough about Gamera from his eons of observation to know he would be on his side. He then charged up his atomic breath, the spines from the tip of his tail lighting up along his back until they got to his head. He took in a deep breath, and exhaled a powerful stream of nuclear energy right smack into Gigan's side, with enough force to send the cyborg reeling off of his feet. Gojira then stomped the ground with a thunderous sound, and let loose a mighty roar to challenge the fake Godzilla, the two dinosaurs and Gigan, while calling Gamera to his side.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yoko gasped and coughed as she clutched her chest, in the spot where Gamera had been impaled, and another cut appeared in the same spot. Kensugi already knew that what was happening was beyond his and anyone else's control, and did his best to keep driving under the speed limit, but to hurry as best he could. "Stay with me Yoko." He said sternly.
"I'm... fine..." Yoko gasped out, it being a lie, obviously, but they both knew that there wasn't anything that could be done right now...
After a few more minutes of driving, Yoko shrieked like she was being hit. She mentally called to Gamera to get out of there, do what he needed to do. She just begged, mentally, for him to get into a better fighting position than he was in.
Gamera's eyes widened upon hearing Yoko's plea, his body surging with renewed energy and began rising to his feet just as Gojira bellowed aloud. Gamera returned Gojira's roar with one of his own, answering his call of arms. The roar was of a slightly different pitch, expressing gratitude. Gamera looked down to where Gigan had stabbed him; his tough plasteron absorbed most of the damage but stress fractures where visible where the alien's scythe made impact. Gamera then looked at Gigan and snarled; it was time to teach this arrogant creature a lesson.
Firing up his internal furnaces, Gamera charged up a medium power fireball which he unleashed at Gigan, the projectile smashing into Gigan's chest before erupting with an explosion that resembled a small supernova, launching the cyborg off his feet and onto his back. Gamera began to charge up another fireball aimed at Gigan while the cyborg was still reeling from the first.
The badly damaged Godzilla merely stared blankly at Gojira as he bellowed his his challenge, one organic eye and one mechanical eye looking at him. Suddenly, the Godzilla began to glow with a brilliant white energy as white flames consumed the hybrid's face and spread across it's body, ashes of the fleshy disguise flaking off it's body. Once the flames subsided, a marvel of technology stood in the Godzilla's place. It still very much resembled Godzilla, but rather than flesh and blood it was constructed of shimmering chrome metal studded with rivets. Steam exited from a large grill on the robot's neck as it opened it's jaw and released the same high pitched shriek as before.
------
Kuronuma laughed as he lifted his finger off the metallic blue button, observing Gojira through the main screen in the control room. This Godzilla was much different than the first, as well as the one they had been studying as it was much more primitive and ancient looking rather than a mutation. The thought of multiple Godzillas existing was a bit unsettling, but Kuronuma was confident MechaGodzilla could destroy them all now that it's full arsenal could be brought to bear.
"Damn Godzilla, you're mistaken if you think your powers are a match for MechaGodzilla!"
Kuronuma triumphantly declared before flipping two blinking green switches on his command console.
------
In response to it's new orders, MechaGodzilla raised it's right arm and pointed it's hand at Gojira. The robot's hand rotated 180 degrees before locking into place and firing a barrage of 4 missles from it's fingertips. The warheads would impact against Gojira's hide with ferocious explosive force. MechaGodzilla rotated it's hand 360 degrees this time to reload another salvo of missiles before firing these as well, the warheads streaking towards Gojira.
Gojira had noted Gamera's gratitude, and then focused on the metal monstrosity as it revealed its true form. He wasn't the least bit impressed with the machine's appearance, and didn't expect much of the missile assault that flew at him. But it was with enough force that he was pushed back, and some scoring had ocurred on his hide. What made these things different from the weapons that humans had used on him before? There was no time to think much on that though as another barrage of missiles raced right for him. He braced himself as he brought his arms up in a defensive posture, and took another blast. After which, there was smoke around him from the blasts, obscuring his form.
Then, he charged right out of the smoke cloud with a thunderous roar, running right for the robot. He outstretched his arms, grabbing for the machine as he slammed right into it full force, pushing the wonder of technology through a building that was already damaged.
It was a rather quiet ride on the chopper, with Hidachi leaned back and resting his eyes, Ryu reading through a book that he brought with him, and Mitzuki sat beside Fukazawa, gazing out the window. She sighed heavily to herself; how she wished that she could be flying right now. The JSDF, unfortunately didn’t allow injured pilots to fly any aircraft, even when it came to someone with Mitzuki’s skill. This damned sling she was required to wear was a real drag. “Whatever.” She thought to herself, best to just make the most of it right now.
Mitzuki turned to Fukazawa who was sitting silently to himself beside her, noting the obvious anxiety and nervousness surrounding his entire person. She smiled, “Nervous or excited?” Mitzuki inquired.
A large pond of water exploded in a towering geyser that stretched hundreds of feet in the sky, before collapsing onto itself and crashing into the body of water once again. Godzilla stood at the edge with Junior beside him, the former having just demonstrated to the adolescent monster a taste of the power put behind his atomic breath, and showing Junior how to do it himself. Godzilla turned to his son and awaited for him to try, to which Junior confidently nodded.
His dorsal fins lit up one by one in a pale blue coloration, energies converged in the back of his throat, Junior puffed up his chest and... Coughed out a tiny blue halo, more oblong than circular, and of which traveled two feet across the bay before poofing out of existence. There was an awkward silence now as Junior stared in utter disbelief at what just happened, and Godzilla having a look of exasperation on his visage. Snarling in frustration, Junior kicked up a cloud of sand and hung his head low in defeat. Godzilla snorted and peered down at the young one’s tail. Maybe... No, no that wouldn’t have worked at all. Godzilla simply rested his huge palm upon his son’s head as reassurance; perhaps Junior’s time wasn’t upon them yet, or he simply couldn’t utilize that particular weapon. Either way, they would find out in due course.
Junior gazed up at Godzilla with newfound encouragement, before spotting a bird flying low in front of his face, and racing off to try and catch it. Air escaped from Godzilla’s nostrils in the form of a nasally sigh, and he was about to head towards the shore again, when a headache suddenly rattled his cranium. It wasn’t enough to cause any real pain to the giant, but enough for him to notice. And then, as soon as it came, the headache was gone and Godzilla shook his head to and fro to clear his senses. He wondered where that suddenly came from... In any case, it had ceased, which meant that the nuclear saurian no longer cared. With a hearty sneer, Godzilla turned and stomped off to find both his son, and a place to rest.
Gigan flopped onto the ground from the impact of Gamera’s fireballs. His leathery hide had been singed, but it was nothing he couldn’t handle. It had been the sheer force of the blasts that had done all of the damage.
He sprang to his feet, only to hear a battle cry that sounded like a great vacuum forming in his eardrums. He looked to where Gamera was, and saw that the turtle was with another creature. A very familiar-looking creature. At last! He had found his true opponent. He had wondered what stranger had knocked him off his feet just a moment ago, and now he had his answer.
Now, he realized that he was clearly at a disadvantage. Fighting the robot, the turtle, and Godzilla would be too much for even him to handle. But then, there were those dinosaurs, too...
Gigan’s thought process was interrupted when he saw a flurry of projectiles fly from the hand of the robot, striking the real Godzilla and causing visible damage. Interesting. Perhaps, if Gamera and Godzilla were allies in this fight, he may need a temporary ally as well. Or rather, he just needed something to distract one of his opponents.
Well, judging by the fact that Godzilla had just angrily charged towards the machine clone of himself, he figured that problem was solved. Perhaps he could take care of the turtle first, and save his true target for last, when the robot had already softened Godzilla up for him.
Shrieking at the turtle again, Gigan unleashed another volley of energy bolts into Gamera, and quickly rushed towards the turtle as he was caught off guard. Moving swiftly, he raised his claws and began to strike at Gamera‘s chest and head, noticing that his initial attack had left a wound on the turtle’s shoulder. He kept up his volley of slicing strikes, trying to wear his opponent down as best he could.
Fukazawa was looking out the window when Mitzuki directed her question to him. He turned his head to meet the pilot, trying to hide his evidently anxious state of mind.
"It's a bit of both, to tell you the truth," he laughed. "To learn I'm being promoted, as well as specially designated to assist in a JSDF deployment? It's crazy! It won't effect my performance as it stands, however."
Now directing his attention to Hidachi, Fukazawa decided it was finally time to suck it up and break from this shell of his. If he was to truly go through the ranks, this would be where it began.
"So what exactly did it take you and your crew here to get to be tech the specialists you are? It's very interesting to me how the world is rapidly changing around us, masers replacing tanks, airships replacing jets; all from the collaboration of the greatest minds here in the JSDF and abroad! I don't mean to sound childish about it, but it's somewhere I'd like to see myself one day."
Gamera shrugged off Gigan's cluster ray, his skin singed by the miniature explosions but otherwise unharmed. Gamera looked up in time to see Gigan sprinting towards him with his scythes raised. Gamera braced himself and once Gigan was in range, he turned his right shoulder to Gigan and thrust his hulking mass foreward. The momentum Gigan built up by running combined with Gamera's shoulder charge would result in Gigan running right into the serrated edges of Gamera's shell. The blade-like spines would puncture through Gigan's leathery armor from the force of the impact. Gamera wasted no time in preparing a follow-up attack in the form of his deadly elbow spikes. Gamera swung his arm with the intent of stabbing Gigan in the throat.
MechaGodzilla braced itself as Gojira collided with the robot. MechaGodzilla activated it's foot thrusters and put them at full power, quickly slowing down the rate at which Gojira could push him. This would continue until Gojira was able to push MechaGodzilla no further, and the robot would then cut power to it's thrusters and redirect said power to it's eyes. The robot's jaw would open without a sound before brilliant rainbow colored energy beams would streak from it's orange eye lenses and strike Gojira in the forehead, sparks and flames erupting from the site of impact.
MechaGodzilla took four steps back before raising it's right arm and rotating it's hand 180 degrees into firing position before taking aim at Gojira's head.
Gojira roared out angrily from the blast on his forehead, and he was forced to stumble back. After about the third or fourth step, he regained his senses, and shook his head to clear his vision. That was when he saw MechaGodzilla's hand aiming for his head, and knowing what was going to come next, he powered up his atomic breath, and fired it right at the hand. The intent was clear, he wasn't going to let MechaGodzilla use the same tactics beyond maybe three times if at that.
Yoko again shrieked from the assault Gamera had borne, and more cuts appeared where he had been struck by Gigan. But she held out, feeling Gamera's determination and that he had something in mind to deal with the hostile opponent. She had to hold out until she could see what was going on herself. She thought encouraging thoughts to Gamera, mentally cheering him on, and to give it all he had.
"Hang on, we'll be there soon." Kensugi said while they drove towards Fukuoka. It pained him to see this young, beautiful woman being hurt all because she had a connection now to the monster. But there was little that could be done, other than to do what he could, and mentally record this all in his head.
Gigan immediately ducked out of the way of the reptile’s spiked elbow, before delivering an uppercut with the blunt side of his scythe to Gamera’s head, staggering the turtle enough for the cyborg to get some distance.
Gigan, noticing how his cluster ray seemed to not have that much effect, decided to change tactics. Instead, he extended his arms, and two slots formed on his chest, from which two heavily serrated disks fired out, spinning towards Gamera rapidly, cutting into his flesh easily upon impact. The cyborg watched gleefully as the turtle recieved the full force of his attack.
Gamera let out a terrible howl of pain as the blades cut his flesh, green blood trickling from the wounds. Gamera inspected his wounds before hearing Yoko speak to him again, feeling their shared pain. Gamera was not as concerned with his injuries so much as he was concerned with Yoko's; he didn't know how much more punishment the human could take if he allowed himself to be carved up by this hybrid.
He could sense her quickly approaching the battleground, potentially endangering herself even more than she already has. What if Gigan or the robot attacked her? Or if a stray projectile found it's way to her? Gamera did not want to contemplate the consequences of being unable to save her from a situation that could have been avoided. However he did not intend to give up, and he raised his head to look Gigan directly in the eye with a look of unrepentant fury that wiped the amusement off the cyborg's face. Gamera growled as he charged forward, each footstep making an earth-shaking thud before colliding with Gigan with enough force to produce a shockwave that made dust and rubble tremble.
The behemoth grabbed both of Gigan's arms in an iron grip, using his size and mass to overpower the cyborg and throw him to the ground near Gojira and MechaGodzilla. Gamera then took in a huge breath of air, fire blazing in his mouth before firing a fireball at the downed cyborg. The fireball swirled and crackled with burning orange plasma, and would cause serious damage if it found it's target.
At the same time MechaGodzilla's arm was struck by Gojira's ray, causing a shower of sparks and it's arm to move just enough to where all four missiles flew off course and exploded a short distance to the right, leaving smoldering craters in the streets. MechaGodzilla responded with a high pitched shriek before it's square-shaped dorsal plates flashed a neon green. MechaGodzilla returned fire with it's flamethrower, aiming the neon flames at Gojira's neck and face. The flames engulfed the reptile's head, increasing in intensity. When the flames ceased, small tongues of fire remained on Gojira's flesh.
MechaGodzilla trudged over to Gojira, each footstep producing a loud metallic crunch as the robot moved. MechaGodzilla raised it's left arm and pivoted it's torso to deliver a potent strike to Gojira's neck.
Gojira closed his eyes from having the flame thrower used on him. While it certainly did no favors to his armor like scales, the worst part of it was mainly the heat, but he'd been through worse. Still, the fire was enough to force him to have to protect his eyes, which lasted a while until the attack subsided, and he looked at his foe. Though parts of his face were now smoldering, he was more angered than anything else. Then he saw the machine aiming a punch right for his neck, his gills. He was well aware that those were a weak point, and he wasn't about to let MechaGodzilla take advantage of that. He grabbed the machine's left arm, and felt the surprising strength of it's mechanisms. It was actually beginning to over-power him, though it was doing so slowly. With a snarl, Gojira reached out with his left hand, grabbed MechaGodzilla by the torso, and then lifted the machine in the air, and tossed him near the downed Gigan. After that, his spines glowed with atomic power, racing from his tail's tip to the back of his throat as the blueish white energies swirled within, and he fired his atomic breath right for the machine. If it managed to impact, the resulting conflagration would most certainly do some damage.
Yoko was looking much worse for the wear, though she was proving to be quite tough. At least, tough in mind and spirit, if not in body, though she was about as tough as the average Japanese woman who was as active as she was. She continued to silently encourage Gamera to keep it up, not to let what was fighting him get the better of him, but to also not worry too much about her. She was already, thanks to their connection, aware of his mission. She was ready for the costs, and she wouldn't give up.
Finally, the car arrived to within visual distance of Fukuoka on one of the mountains overlooking the city, and where she and Kensugi could watch the fight from a distance. "This is as far as we go." Kensugi said as he parked the car, got out, and walked over to the passenger side. "You sure you want to do this?"
"I am..." Yoko nodded, "I need to watch, see in what ways I can help Gamera by seeing the battle." She then got out, walking a bit unsteady as Kensugi helped her to stand up, and watch the battle from what he had hoped was a safe distance. He then saw one of the creatures.
"My god... It's him." Kensugi said, "It's Gojira."
"That's Gojira?" Yoko said as she looked and saw the reptilian monster that was battling MechaGodzilla. Kensugi nodded in confirmation, as he knew what Gojira looked like.
"He survived Castle Bravo after all, and he's bigger now." Kensugi spoke, "He must be here to restore the balance, if Monarch's research is correct."
"Yeah, and the giant turtle..." Yoko said, "That's Gamera."
"Gamera, huh?" Kensugi asked, noting the giant turtle's appearance. "He, uh, looks a little fierce for a guardian."
"He's a protector, alright." Yoko said, "You'll see."
Anguirus climbed sluggishly back to his feet, his muscles a bit uncooperative after the jolt of electricity. He shook himself, trying to work out what had happened. Where could lightning have come from? There weren't even any clouds. For that matter, could there even be clouds in this underground world?
Problems for later. He had to press his advantage over Gororo while the pachy was weak, and-
He froze, completely flabbergasted by what he was seeing.
The monoclonius was covering Aroro with webbing that was somehow coming out of his mouth.
Anguirus' jaw dropped open. What in the name of all that was good and natural was happening here? Dinosaurs should not have been able to do things like that. But... here it was, and Aroro was clearly trapped and frightened, so something had to be done. He started forward- and the ceratopsid made his threat. Anguirus still couldn't fully grasp the words themselves, but the tone was clear enough. He stopped, letting out a honk of frustration. He couldn't surrender, couldn't just leave Aroro like this, but if he didn't, the thugs would...
And that was when the... thing... appeared. The strangest creature he'd ever encountered, bar none, and it was getting to the point where that was saying something. It spoke, and he found he could understand it... and it was here to fight bullies, apparently?
Well, that seemed hopeful. He didn't need help, exactly, he still felt he had things under control, but the distraction the bipedal metallic lizard provided was useful. As his enemies' eyes focused on the newcomer, Anguirus edged toward Aroro, placing himself protectively between her and the threats. He rumbled under his breath that she needed to find a way out of that mess fast.
Gigan managed to roll just enough for Gamera's fireball to narrowly miss his head. He felt the intense heat of it even from a distance. Somewhat taken aback by the turtle's speed and power, he rolled over a second time and got back to his feet, just in time to see Mechagodzilla plummet to the ground next to him, before being pelted with Godzilla's atomic breath.
Gigan decided that a new strategy would clearly be needed to deal with Gamera. It was one of his old favorite methods. He took to the air, activating the giant buzz saw on his chest, which roared to life with a whir and flew straight towards Gamera. The cyborg sneered as he drove straight into the turtle's shoulder, driving his buzz saw into the flesh with ease, creating a fountain of blood in Gamera's shoulder. Gigan flew out past his foe, flying a ways out before turning sharply, and making his way back to Gamera for another pass...
The Dinosaur Kingdom
Unlike his dim-witted college, Mororo had not gotten this far in his life one power alone. He sized up the metal warrior and instantly knew he was out of his league. Even with the idiot Gororo’s help this wouldn’t end well. So instead of fighting, the monoclonius raised his head and let out a high pitched cry. Aroro, who had been desperately trying to free herself after hearing Anguirus, went into a full blown panic upon hearing Mororo’s cry. She knew what that sound meant and if she didn’t warn the male and the metal stranger in time, they were all going to end up dead. As she struggled she felt her jaw part slightly, and not wasting a second, began using her flam breath to melt the silk.
Mean while Mororo’s cry echoed across all of the Dinosaur Kingdom. Every creature that heard it instantly stopped what they were doing, even if they were fighting among themselves, for like Aroro they knew what it meant. Across the underground land a deathly silence feel, as all it’s inhabitants tensely waited for what was to come next.
In the Central Spire, Ururu continued to meditate on his dream. He followed it’s wake within his mind, feeling along it’s his neural pathways to it’s source. There! There it was! The visions had not come from his own mind but from outside. But this one was alien to him. Ururu had his mind fully connected to several dinosaurs and partially connected to virtually everyone of them under his rule. It had been that way for years... but this one was new. If Ururu were asked to picture it, he would have described it as a blue strand at the very edge of a red spider web. He felt along the connection trying to find what it was linked to, though he suspected what it might be. Soon he came to the end and his mind began to feel the emotions of a creature he had recently encountered... Godzilla. There was no doubt about it, somehow he had a mental link with...
Then a sound rudely imposed itself on his conscious and the Dinosaur King was abruptly dragged back to the physical world. Ururu growled in anger as he opened his eyes and looked round for the disturbance. He soon noticed that the sound still echoed around the chamber he was in and instantly recognised it. The Kingdom was being invaded! Ururu’s anger turned to white hot fury. “Who dares invade my domain!” The giant T. Rex rose to his feet and lumbered through his lair towards the main entrance. As he did so, Ururu reached out with his mind to find the source of the problem. He soon found it, Gororo was in pain and Mororo was worried. The fact that it was two of his elites who had put out the call only served to make Ururu even angrier. “Pathetic piles of dung!” Soon he was at the spires entrance and out into crystal light. He concentrated, trying to locate were his two “elites” were. In a heartbeat he had pinpointed their location. He looked out at the foot hills, plains and jungle that spread out before him, right in the direction of the cliff face were the confrontation was taking place. The Dinosaur King spied a cluster of figures standing close together. That had to be them!
Ururu then raised his head, opened his jaws and let forth a roar that could be heard clearly across his kingdom. It was a call to battle... and every inhabitant of the land answered as one.
Aroro had just about freed herself when Ururu’s roar reached her ears. No! She was too late! She shrugged off the last of the burnt silk and looked around at her allies, who where just standing around looking confused while Mororo, who had a massive grin plastered on his beaked face, and his cronies backed away. In fact, every dinosaur that had been in the local area was moving away as fast as they could. Hearing a sound, she looked over at Gororo who had picked himself up once again. In spite of his injuries, and still clasping at his eye with one hand, the thug was actually laughing at them. “Yah lot are dead!” mocked the disgraced elite before he too started to move away.
Aroro knew that if they didn’t get moving right now, he was right. “Run! Right now!” She yelled at Anguirus who just looked at her, still confused as to what was going on. She then ran up to the metal warrior, “You to! We have to get out of here right now!” Not waiting to hear it’s reply, Aroro ran back to the still baffled Anguirus and began pushing him toward the path to they had used to get down from the top of the cliff, all the while trying to get him to understand. “We in terrible danger! Mororo has...!”
It was then that her ears were assaulted by a cacophony of sound. She turned back and gasped at the sight. While still a ways off, the collective inhabitants of the Kingdom were forming together in a stampeding army of dinosaurs. Allosaurs, megalosaurs, ceratopsians, stegosaurs, ankylosaurs, raptors, spinosaurids, duckbills, souropods. All were coming together at the command of their king. Above the army, the pterosaurs of the Kingdom were banding together also, forming a huge, menacing flock. It would have been a wonderful sight... were it not for the fact that mass of dinosaurs were charging right for them, demolishing everything that got in their way. As Aroro’s eyes scanned over the army, one figure stood out among them. It was a huge, dark triceratops. The creature radiated a terrible aura, so great that even in their frenzied state, all the dinosaur warriors gave the trike space.
Aroro instantly recognised the dark beast and a pang of sorrow mixed with her fear. “Garara...” she said involuntarily. An explosion nearby brought her back to the here and now. Several more went off before Aroro realised what was going on. The dinosaur warriors were unleashing barrages of fire balls, heat rays, bolts of electricity and all manner of other energy blasts at them. The sky lit up as volley after volley of attacks came flying though the air. Soon there were explosions going off all around her and her allies, as well as across the cliff face behind them.
Mongolia
After recovering from the attack, Iguno got to his feet. He was hurt but still had a lot more fight left in him, plus he was just having too much dame fun. Praise to Ururu for this mission. But then he heard a new roar and looked up to see a giant mammal beast. Iguno hissed in irritation. Why did someone have to show up now, just when it was getting good. He’d have to retreat for the time being, but this was far from over. He and the human ally Walterrus would meet... human... ally?! Iguno smiled as a new plan formed in his mind. He then lifted up his right arm, pointed at the dragon kaiju, then dragged his still bloody thumb spike through the air in from of his own throat. The threat was clear.
The giant iguanodon’s body then began to shift again, this time into the form of ankylosaur. He spared Walterrus one last glance before he began burrowing into the sand.
Fukuoka, Japan
Chidako and Arrow were at a total loss as to what to do as they watched the monsters battling away in front of them. They were not leaving without a fight, not by a long shot but... who were they going to fight? All these creatures were technically their enemies one way or another but... “Screw it” growled Arrow “I’ll take the alpha and the robot, you take the turtle and the... whatever the hell that thing is!” Chirako nodded. Then without hesitation, charged at Gamara and Giagan. Arrow turned his attention to his enemies and marched towards Gojira and Mechagodzilla.
Draborgman witnessed what was coming, and he immediately recognized that there was no way he could deal with this. Two dinos? Sure. Three? Possible. Four? Doable. Five? Very difficult. Six? It'd be the fight of his life. Beyond that, he wasn't sure how he would handle it, but he knew that this countless number of dinosaurs was beyond what he could handle on his own. He'd have to have brought in every Draborgman aside from himself that he knew to even have a shot. Even then, he'd need the entirety of the Ultra Family alongside his race, yes, even the one who's name should not be mentioned. "Ohhhhhhh shit..." Was all he could manage before sheathing his swords, and beginning to push Anguirus along with Aroro's pushing the stunned Ankylosaur. "Move it big guy!" He said, "The lady's right, we gotta move! Even I can't handle this, no attack I have could stall that stampede!" He could handle a swarm of identical foot soldiers with no special powers other than being cannon fodder, but this was cannon fodder on a level so high that it'd be comparable to chess being above tic-tac-toe. He'd either have to come back with a powerful strike force that was fully united, or wear the kingdom down with every dino sent to the surface. Powering up was definitely going to be required in the near future.
Walterrus narrowed his intact eye, and snarled. He knew this was far from over as his spines lowered their light, and he powered down. He then looked up to Byakkan who was growling in frustration at the Iguanodon running off as soon as it was outnumbered. So it seemed that these dinos also had a tendency to be bullies... Something that didn't sit well with either Kaiju.
Byakkan made her way down to Walterrus, and looked up at him. She growled out a question of if he was ok? He growled that he had been better, and opened his left eye, which was healing up enough that he could look out of it, though his vision was blurry out of that eye. He had a feeling that this was far from over, and that he would be meeting with that dinosaur again. Byakkan meowed, letting him know she'd be there, at Gojira's order, she wouldn't leave his side. Walterrus nodded, appreciating the gesture, but felt that the coward would do something to split them up, as well as draw him into a trap. He needed to gain strength, and he'd have to go to the one place he could think of. But it was somewhere Byakkan might not be able to follow. The tigress kaiju meowed that she'd stick with him as long as she could, even try to go there with him. If it involved traversing another vortex, then so be it. Walterrus nodded, but had one thing left to do. He looked south, and could sense her, he growled that Mothra had awakened, and was making her way up to them. They should at least meet up with the queen of monsters. Byakkan nodded in agreement, and the two began to make their way south to meet with Mothra, Byakkkan standing on her hind legs and gently supporting Walterrus' injured left arm. She was careful though, and made sure not to interfere with the healing of his arm.
Yoko cried out when she felt Gamera's shoulder being cut by Gigan's buzzsaw chest, with Kensugi going to her side again and supporting her. Yoko looked out again, this time seeing things clearly. She would do her best to warn Gamera, and could see Gigan coming from behind as well as the dinosaur charging towards him. "Gamera, behind you! Take him out!" She shouted, knowing her words would be lost to the the sounds of battle, but her thoughts would still reach him. "To your side! Watch out for the charging horned dinosaur!"
Gamera howled again as green blood sprayed from the wound, stumbling forward before regaining his balance. Thanks to Yoko's warning, Gamera began to charge a surprise fireball for Gigan when he got close enough. Fire blazed from the corners of his mouth as he heard the high pitched whine of Gigan's thrusters right behind him. Gamera then unexpectedly turned around and released the charging fireball, the blazing mass of energy resembling a miniature sun smashing into Gigan's face as he flew towards Gamera. The blast would knock Gigan out of the sky and set his head ablaze with burning plasma, blinding the cyborg.
Taking note of the other threat thanks to Yoko, Gamera fired another ball of scorching plasma at the charging Chirako, the projectile detonating just in front of the dinosaur with enough pressure to make the horned beast stumble back as the ground in front of it was cratered and set ablaze. Gamera turned his attention back to Gigan and marched over to the downed cyborg, his mechanical and organic components likely still rattled from such a blow plus the fall. Gamera began to inhale deeply, his belly producing a more rapid humming sound as infernal energies gathered at the back of his throat. This time he intended to fire a fireball at maximum charge, wanting to finish Gigan once and for all.
MechaGodzilla sprang back up in time to see Gojira's spines light up to discharge his ray. Diverting power to his foot rockets, the metallic marvel dashed out of the way of the searing blue heat ray. It was at this moment that MechaGodzilla's advanced radar detected an incoming hostile from behind. Rotating it's head 180 degrees, the robot's head faced Arrow and shrieked while simultaneously raising it's left arm and locked it's hand into firing position, aiming at Gojira. A few moments went by before MechaGodzilla fired streams of rainbow colored energy from it's eyes directly into Arrow's face, producing sparks and a powerful blast that sent the dinosaur crashing to the ground in pain.
At the exact same time as he fired his eye beams, MechaGodzilla defied expectations and instead of firing it's finger missiles, it instead fired a total of six rockets from it's toes directly into Gojira's shins, the fierce explosive power bringing the reptilian titan to his knees. However MechaGodzilla was not finished, it extended it's left arm and fired all four finger missiles at Gamera, Gigan and Chirako. Though the missiles where not aimed at any specific target, the explosive power of the projectiles would be more than enough to hurt any of the three.
Location: ???
In a long forgotten cave on an equally forgotten island, a clutch of four large eggs laid dormant. Outside, a brutal storm pounded the island with unrelenting fury. The eggs however, where protected by the impenetrable cavern walls from which they sat. The eggs where a dull grey in color with faded reddish-purple dots. The eggs where also covered with a strange, vine-like organic webbing that had dried out long ago. These eggs had been here for millennia, waiting for the right conditions for their terrible spawn to hatch; conditions which now had been fulfilled. In the back of this cavern was a large, tusked skull of a massive reptilian that lay half buried in the sediment. Centipedes and beetles scurried through the dead creature's mouth and eye sockets. Suddenly these insects would scatter as though startled by the presence of a larger predator.
One of the eggs in the clutch began to move, the life within stirring, eager to escape the confines of it's prison. A crack formed on the exterior of the shell, rapidly expanding across a small surface of the egg before it was breached by something, something sharp; a claw. The claw twitched, oozing amniotic fluid which had kept it alive for so long. Then a three-toed foot with similar claws slid out from the opening and made it's first contact with the earth. More transparent fluid leaked and oozed from the opening in the egg as now the vague shape of a toothless mouth and eye where barely visible.
The creature within chirped and gurgled as it's eyelids opened to reveal a horrific blood-red eye who's soulless black pupil dialated in response to the change in light. The hatchling took it's first glimpse of the outside world as it wriggled and writhed to free itself from it's brittle prison. Around it, it's siblings began to stir from their long slumber one by one, as if one birth set a chain reaction in the other eggs. After much struggling, the hatchling slipped out of it's shell. It was a hideous, vile thing; it's head was flat and arrow-shaped, it's skin a maroon color, it's arms stretched into bat-like wings tipped ferocious semi-transparen claws.
Still weak and feeble from just moments ago being born, the animal struggled to stand, using it's folded wings, tail and hind legs to support itself. The creature weakly raised it's head and observed it's surroundings before letting out an ear piercing screech that was joined by a chorus of eggshells cracking, followed by the birth-cries of it's siblings. This wasn't a cry for help however: this was a warning to the world: the Shadow of Evil had returned.
