Ugh, I know, right? I'm in the exact same place, except it's revising the novel, and it's a good 50-page document of notes and ideas and possible changes and storylines I want to incorporate. It's such a pain, isn't it? At the beginning, it's so much fun, because you can just create anything you want to. But the closer it gets to the climax, the more you actually have to stop and put some thought into how you can weave things together to actually tie them up in a satisfying way. In some ways, it can take all the fun out of writing- or at least make it feel a lot more like homework.

Though it's going to be a bit incoherent considering I'm working backwards.

Mhm. You just have to write and let whatever ideas you’ve got up top at that moment flow. Get them down first, then you can worry about going back, and tidying up things. That’s what I do, and a lot of times, whatever I’m writing won’t even have anything to do with the end result that I’m trying to get to. But, low and behold, it at the very least, gives me various ideas and inspirations that I can then hone, and tweak to fit whatever it is I’m working towards. That’s what I did in the final stages of Ninja Theory, and I found that it greatly helped the process of finishing that book move A LOT quicker.

I’m doing the same thing now for my next book, and it’s coming along much easier than NT. Then again, what worked for me, may not work for everyone else. Just figure out what kind of technique helps the best, roll with it for a bit, and see if it helps make things less... Monotonous.

I’ll get on that, buddy. If everything works out, be prepared for 1200 pages of ninja... Stuff.

I’m excited for this next book, man, I swear. The first three chapters made my wife cry, so that’s... Something.

Yeah cheers mate, it’s a tragic romance drama, which is like, her kryptonite. I honestly feel bad for making her read it... Almost. If the PMs weren’t being held together with scotch tape, I’d share it with you. Plus, if you killed off one of your characters in the first chapter (you bloody madman), I definitely need/want to read your book.

Okay, I removed "removed" from all those posts here in the hub so I wouldn't have to look at them and replaced them wit a running commentary 'cause frankly that's all I had. Once again, I'm really sorry about all of this carp. I understand if you don't let me back in here.

You're alright, mate, and you can stay if you'd like to. I'd miss not having my partner in crime and growing good friend around here with me. You're a good guy, Dawson; don't be like ol' Dion here.

Dang it...you're apparently a better friend than I am. But I will say this: I won't do that again. I'll be here for you as long as I can be. And if I can't be it's probably because I'm dead or at iHop taking advantage of lactose-immunity pills.

Thanks buddy.

Wait, you have temper difficulties on the internet, the bone-muscle density of a baby bird, and lactose issues?

...Are you me? Have I traveled back in time and assumed a false identity to continue posting on TK? Because I think we may be the same person...

Okay, now, see- I'm not sure whether to make a raven/writing desk joke here, or a 'Riddle me this, Batman' joke here.

I guess I just kind of ruined them both.

Spoiler:
"Hey guys."
Daws sighed, leaning out from under his beach umbrella to get a better look at the floating screen. "So, finally showing your face?"
"Yep," the real Daws said. "I figured it was time to move on."
"Pshaw," Tosaku said nearby. "We're fine right here."
"So am I to be honest," the real Daws said. "But the story needs to move on."
Ubel squinted at the screen, catching sight of a strand of black hair nearby. "What's that?"
"So I'm gonna let you guys essentially have the run of the story from now on," the real Daws continued, ignoring Ubel's question. "But I will be checking on you every once in a while to make sure you're not still loafing around in Santo Domingo."
"Who's sitting next to you?" Ubel asked.
"I think I know..." Daws said, an uncomfortable look on his face.
The real Daws glanced to one side. "Myth in a swimsuit."
Daws held up a hand. "Stop right there, I don't want to know anymore. We'll get to work soon."
"Just making sure," the real Daws said, the screen shrinking into nothingness.
Tosaku sighed. "There goes our vacation."
Ubel stretched. "It had to happen eventually. And by the way, why are you so obsessed with Myth?"
Daws stood, popping his back. "She's hot."
"Not by most people's standards," Ubel pointed out.
"Granted," Daws admitted. "But I don't think you love someone because their perfect. Rather, I think you find the imperfections beautiful."
"That'd be inspiring if it didn't some from you," Ubel grunted. "Now weren't we supposed to meet someone called Gondolier?"
"Yeah," Daws said. "I think I know where he is too."
