The King of the Monsters stampeded toward his foe as quick as possible, arms outstretched. Plumes of blue fire exited his closed jaws. Godzilla could fire his atomic ray, but he decided against it. He had a stronger attack in his arsenal, one that he was sure Monster X would love.

Monster X stared at his glimmering blue enemy, his skeletal hands slowly curling into fists. Even the ancient alien monster was intimidated by this display, but the beast refused to show it. Connecting the fact his opponent wasn't firing a powerful nuclear blast, than what was it doing? The Xilien monster would take out his own new assault, the sides of his bony shoulders and back swelling up. In a brilliant burst, the entire back of Monster X ripped open, spraying black blood onto the ground. A pair of gigantic, yellow and blue colored wings rose from his torn back like a demented butterfly, already developing small hands of the same color from their tips. The wings uncurled further, making a span as wide as Godzilla was tall. The Meteorite Monster charged back at the King of The Monsters, saving the rest of his transformation from when it was time.

The saurian's entire body flashed blue and blue-white pillars of light erupted all around his body. A jagged sphere of energy appeared and quickly grew. It suddenly popped, releasing spiked arcs of energy in a nuclear pulse that tore through its surroundings. A dense cloud of smoke impaired Godzilla's vision. The azure glow had vanished from his body. He had no idea if Monster X had survived the pulse or not thanks to the smoke.

Monster X raised its muscular arm right before slamming it down onto the hide of Godzilla seconds before the blast of pure radioactive energy had arrived into the battlefield. It seemed as if time itself stopped, as every piece of flesh and bone in the extraterrestrial anatomy of the Xilien monster felt the shockwave. Monster X was blown back at least one hundred meters or more, his skeletal body crashing into the abandoned streets and crushing it from the force he was tossed. Even through the dense cloud, a gigantic fireball could be seen rising from where Monster X crashed, sending large pieces of his skeletal armor flying through the air. Heavy amounts of the same black blood oozed earlier rose as well.

Whether Monster X was alive or dead was completely unknown for the time.

He was furious and angry he got up and rushed towards monster X to check if he is alive or not. He scanned the area and looked around for godzilla or anyone else coming for the alien creature or the cyborg chicken.

While Godzilla marched towards the alien cyborg known as Gigan, it appeared the Monster King had seemed to oddly enough step on something. The disembodied arm of Monster X lied on the ground, its fingers still twitching for some reason. Black blood covered the arm, making a large puddle around it and painting the battlefield a dark color as small skeletal pieces fell off the arm. While no other trace that the Xilien monster existed so far, an ominous presence was still surrounding all of the remaining monsters. Something much worse than anything anyone could imagine.

When he thought he was close enough, the Monster King turned a hundred and eighty degrees, and lowered his body so his dorsal spikes were on a direct path to Gigan's body. Godzilla's gaze returned to the cyborg, atomic breath at the ready in case Gigan survived being impaled on his dorsal fins.

Suddenly, it happened.


A nearby building which still somehow survived the titanic battle between the gargantuan monsters seemed to implode, shards of glass and metal flying everywhere. A demented parrot like laughter was heard, as four familiar crimson eyes appeared from the clouds of dust and ash created by the collapse of the building. Not only eyes, but the exact same pair of brilliant yellow and blue wings flapped high into the air from the dust. The skeletal outline of Monster X stood there, missing an arm and several large chunks of his bony alien armor. The Xilien beast had somehow survived the nuclear pulse, but barely. Monster X fully revealed himself as pieces of his exposed black muscle underneath his armor twitched and bled onto the ground.

As Gigan Saw the transformation he was shocked and surprised. He roared to see if it answered him to see if it knows his cyborg companion.

Godzilla brought himself to a screeching halt. He backed away from Gigan and turned towards the revived Monster X. The saurian emitted a confused bellow. His pulse wasn't enough to vanquish the alien, but it had heavily wounded him. One more shot of atomic breath should finish it off. Gigan would be next after Monster X fell.
