Star Wars: Balance of The Force

[Vatarian]

War over Mustafar! Following the newly apprenticed Darth Vader's assassination of multiple Seperatist leaders on the surface of the volcanic world, the shaken Galactic Republic makes a bid to kill two birds with one stone. Republic forces have deadlocked both the Mustafarian Seperatist remnants and the New Order Imperial escort fleet in high orbit, preventing the Sith Lord from fleeing the system and forcing his ships to stay and protect him and even call for backup! As warships bid for control of the smoke-filled sky, a frenetic war of attrition is waged on the ground below.

The Republic Clone Army clashes with seperatist droid forces and their own traitorous former allies, now under the rule of Darth Sidious! All three sides seek the powerful Sith, Darth Vader....

On Coruscant, the disarrayed Senate, now tenatively under the control of a bitter and harried Padme Amidala, seeks to dispatch Jedi to Mustafar, even as rumors of a secondary Sith resurgance lead by Darth Maul, Lord of Mandalore, circulate....

[Demon Lord Gira]

Above the surface of the volcanic world, away from the mass of combat and ordinance that flew around, a sole HMP gunship was ascending up into space. Beside it were a pair of vulture droids, monitoring the airspace around the gunship and ensuring that no enemy vessels got within firing distance.

Aboard the gunship, a woman took off her helmet and collapsed onto her back, breathing heavily. Beside her, were all that remained of the Seperatist Council, all five members. A pale man that looked somewhat human, but was clearly alien looked down at the girl. "Well, I suppose we were right in following you. Better here than down there in that hellhole."

"Yes. Too bad Gunray won't be joining us, wherever he is." The woman said. To think, that this had been a simple extract and recover mission, only for Vader to show up when she really didn't want him to. Just the sith alone had nearly ruined her plan, but now the Republic was here, and in force. She had expected their inner turmoil to leave them too crippled to do anything, but she had been wrong. Now, she was hoping to slip out as fast as possible, and get back to Grievous with what they had available. "And what of you, Tambor?"

Everyone, both organic, and inorganic, turned to the suited Skakoan in their midst. "I would have never expected Sidious to betray us. He'll pay for trying to eliminate all of us. So long as what the CIS originally stood for remains, the Techno Union will support Grievous and his forces."

[Noble Saber]

"TAKE COVER!"

Oxide rolled behind a piece of fallen debris to escape the explosion that nearly singed his body entirely. Once the dust had settled, he raised his blaster rifle, took aim, and fired.

The Clone Trooper grunted in pain as the laser bolt struck him in the chest, burning a hole through his armor. He dropped his rifle and stumbled to the ground. Perfect hit.

Oxide turned to look at the Clone beside him.

"What's the matter!? Your gun jammed?" Oxide wasn't sure the soldier heard him. Hell, he could barely hear himself.

"No, sir!" The Clone shouted back. "It's just... I can't! I can't kill my own brothers!"

Oxide bent down so that he was face-to-face, or rather, helmet-to-helmet.

"Listen. They are not our brothers. They're trying to kill us, and we're just being polite and returning the favor."

Another explosion rocked the ground.

"HOW MANY MINUTES TILL THAT EVAC?!"

"HOME-BASE IS SAYING ETA 2 MINUTES ON THOSE GUNSHIPS, SIR!" Oxide's second in command, Scorch yelled over the sound of his blaster fire.

The war-struck Clone was heaved onto his feet. "Do what you were created to do and fight!"

Away from the battle on another planet, a hooded figure sits in a temple meditating. Calm. No expression on his face, but there is a twinge of amusement in his mind. Where is he? He thought quitely as he waited for his visitor to arrive but yet he did not stop the facade of meditation.

Jedi. The people who are connected to the force that binds the universe itself. Some are more wise than others, tied closer together to the Force. There are those still learning. Always remember the bridge to the Dark Side: hate. And anger.

You don't need this wisdom at all for what was going on. A figure kept out of sight, moving slowly and trying to keep itself from detection using the Force and stealth. It clutched its lightsaber, though turning it on will be a dead giveaway.

The one he was looking for was there, meditating. There was a twinge of amusement at this. Clearly, nobody would find them, right? He drifted around the circular architecture of the temple walls.

The figure came around, making its way through a doorway. The figure came at the Jedi boldly, but still trying to keep its steps silent.

The hooded figure smiled again and pulled his hood down, revealing a man with long black hair and green eyes. Kept meditating, trying to connect to the Force. Although he was not strong in the Force, he did not care.

"How long has it been since Master Yoda trained you, youngling?" The hooded figure said with a smirk.

[Demon Lord Gira]

Explosions rang around the clones in their hiding place. Several missiles flew over their heads, and blasted apart the stormtrooper ranks coming toward them... but this was no calvalry. A massive Hellfire Droid barreled past them, as if oblivious to the clone presence, as it unleashed its deadly arsenal on Vader's forces. Blaster fire and rockets were fired back at it, but the Hellfire droid was too fast, too agile, and plowed right over the Empire's forces.

Looming behind it, was an even bigger spider droid, accompanied by four dwarf spider droids. These took notice of the clone forces, and the large spider droid fired its laser cannon at them...

The other figure was a man, with plain features and light brown hair.

"It's been some time, going on fifteen," the person replied. "Enough to get a bit rusty and also detect mind tricks. Admit to it, you mind tricked me."

He said this in a joking manner.

[Godzilla The King]

"Certainly seems like less, my apprentice." The Jedi spoke as he got up. He then pulled out his lightsaber, a white glow emitting from the blade. "I'll have to remind you of your training."

He turned to face his apprentice with a smile. He had grown to see him as a son, though he'd never fully admit it.

[Noble Saber]

Three clones are sent flying into the air from the shock of the blast. The scattered team turns around to counter-strike, but it's clear the Spider-Droid is too much of a match for them. Five more clones fall to the ground.

Oxide hears a distant click. It's his radio. "Oxide, this is Ranger 1-7, I have your coordinates." It's the pilot of a Republic Gunship. There's a sigh of relief among the clones.

"...I'm going to need you to head West. Evac team will meet you there."

Oxide groaned in frustration. "I've got at least a dozen wounded here, rooks too. Are you sure you can't make it here?"

That's a negative, sir. Your position's too hot. If we try to pick you up where you are currently we're all dead."

Oxide fires his blaster at a dwarf spider-droid, hitting it in a vital area, which prompts it to self-destruct and take out a second droid in the process.

A soft smile came across Sha's face. He drew his weapon and ignited it, sending a green glow across the floor and on the walls, meshing with his master's blade glow.

"It seems so much like we are fast paced for Jedi," Sha said. He looked to his lightsaber.

Korrith responded by launching towards his apprentice with lightning fast speed, swinging fast and not giving him a break. This was Korrith's style, at least at first. Overwhelm thr enemy with fast strikes and then wait for their defense to break.

"Just because you are my apprentice does not mean I'll hold back, Sha." Korrith said while swinging his lightsaber.

Sha met the blows with a similarly fast style, spinning and moving his arm in quick, Force enhanced movements. He shoved Korrith away. "Guess that means I'll have to do the same."

He rushed toward his fellow Jedi, swinging his lightsaber toward him in a quick movement.

Korrith blocked the blow with his saber onehanded and countered with a swing of his own to distract his apprentice before pulling out his blaster and pointing it at his apprentice's face. He could see a subtle bit of fear in the eyes of the Jedi.

"Know that I don't play by tradition and neither do your enemies." Korrith said with a smirk.

"Indeed," Sha said, eying the blaster. "Can you please put that down, I don't want to be accidentallt shot in the face. Shall we try again?"

[Godzilla The King]

"Oh, stop your whining, it's set to stun." Korrith said laughing before holstering his blaster and letting his apprentice regain himself before going in for a flurry of strong swings at him.

Sha leaped overhead after deflecting several blows. He blocked a few in midair before landing behind Korrith. For each blow, he said "Yes" as a means to make fun that he got no verbal answer. He anticipated a quick turn and swing, so he brought his lightsaber around, moving away from where he anticipated the blaster to be pointed.

Korrith went for a powerful swing, aiming to disarm his apprentice. He also kicked him down with a (lightly) Force strenghted kick.

"You've done well...if you were a youngling, that is." The Master spoke.

Sha turned to his side instead of blocking the blow before throwing himself to his feet and delivering several blows toward his master, moving quickly to the side to help disorient him. He jumped but instead of landing to his master's other side, he simply landed back down, hoping to confuse the other Jedi.

Korrith was caught off-guard for a second before he made a "stop" gesture to his apprentice and deactivated his saber. He walked towards Sha with a proud smile.

"You've definitely improved since last time. Though I could give you some advice, the Force is a tool not a crutch. Your, uh, 'midichlorian count' isn't everything." Korrith said to the young Jedi.
