Re: The battle of the Multiverse

On the other end of the rift, was the world that Molly and Demogorgon knew by heart. The world they had come from... and the great walls that divided up the landmass of North America. With undead both of Raspaganje's origin and of the folly of man terrorizing the populace, what remained of human civilization had made its home in walled off sections, now only numbering in the hundreds of thousands in terms of overall population. The largest of these was in central canada, and it was here that Demogorgon gently flew downward toward.

It was night time in this world, and Demogorgon and Demiurge were like shadows, slipping past the great defenses and dropping below one particular apartment. They took on human form, and with a snap of their fingers, were both back in the tattered, dustied maid outfits from so long ago, as was Molly. The girl in question walked up to the door, and knocked on it. The door was quick to open, and out came an older lady, around forty in age, and with large glasses on her face. Her eyes laid upon Molly, and she began to shake. "MOLLY! My dear child! You're alive!" She screamed, and threw her arms around the girl. "Oh thank heavens! When I heard that the town had just vanished in the earthquake, I feared the worst, but I couldn't do anything."

"It's okay, mom. Demmy and Heather were there for me." Molly hugged her mother back, and gestured with what part of her hand she could to the twin demons. "You know, the two I always wrote about, that are always at each other's throats?"

"Yes... I am aware." The woman said, as she bowed to Demogorgon. "Thank you for taking care of my daughter. These past three months, I was fretting so much. Her father's asleep right now, but he'll be overjoyed to hear she's back. Mind if you two stay for the night? I know your homes were... erm-"

"I would be glad to." Demiurge said. "And actually, I have an apartment not too far from here. Perhaps... perhaps Molly can live with me over there, if it isn't too much of a burden for you."

"Sure. Having her live here in town again... I just don't want to lose my baby." The woman began to snifle. She wiped her face. "And what of you, Demmy? Is it okay if you live here?"

"I can't." Demogorgon stated. "I have my own family in a nearby village that's worried sick for me. I'll stop by and visit, but for the time being... I'll be on my way." With that, she turned and waved a hand upward at Molly. "Be seeing you around, kiddo. I got places to go, and things to do." Then, she waved back at her, and walked off.

Molly could only wave back at Demogorgon, as was Demiurge. "See you some time, Demmy!" She called out, as the girl seemed to vanish into the night...

On a distant, abandoned moon on the far reaches of the multiverse, a small orbital station can be seen embedded in on of its mountains. Inside the orbital station are at least eighty monitors, surrounding a makeshift chair made out of random pieces of different metals. Each monitor can be seen displaying every single battle that has occurred, over the last several months, up to the war, and final battle at the Core. One monitor consistently replays the Ninja's demise at the hands of Young Man, and another begins to relay his leaving to the Realm of the Ninja, along with Ubel, Daeva, and Orochi. Suddenly, a tiny, pebble-sized camera comes flying towards the orbital station at supersonic speeds, and enters through one of the vents. It begins to hover for a moment, before finally setting itself down onto a shelf alongside at least a hundred more.

"DAMMIT!!!" A deep, synthesized voice roars out, as an armored fist slams down onto one of the chair's arms with incredible force. The figure rises from their "throne", and strides out of the station, and onto the moon's surface. Clenching a fist, the being unleashes a massive torrent of blood red energy, surging towards a distant mountain; instantly reducing it to a massive explosion of billions of burning rock.

"I truly imagined that the grotesque either the manifestation of Young Man, or the Lord of Darkness himself would have been more than enough to kill the bastard for good; it appears that I was sorely mistaken." The mysterious being states in frustration, as they examine their work of the ruined mountain, before finally walking back into the station. "No matter, their failure is only a small thorn in my side... But I require an army that I could possibly persuade, to assist me in my... Endeavors."

Suddenly, the tiny camera that just returned to the station begins beeping and flashing a small, red light. In an instant, it relays all of the footage that it managed to acquire of interesting/valuable things to note in the multiverse, to a monitor. The strange being studies the footage carefully, and soon spots something of interest. "Stop right there... What the hell are those things?" They question as a picture of hundreds of bizarre beings, made out of... Metal? Catches their attention. The being stares at the picture intently, and begins to chuckle softly. "Interesting, life forms made completely out of metal, and there seems to be quite a few of them together; almost guaranteed to be part of a much larger group... An army."

The mysterious figure takes their eyes away from the screen, and looks at the weapon posted up beside the chair: a giant, dark metallic grey, katana; possessing a blade that is completely serrated with razor sharp, metal "teeth". They pick up the weapon and scans it briefly, before turning back to the picture. "These beings will be just what I need to kill that son-of-a-bitch, for what he did to me thousands of years ago. They must have some type of leader I presume, so if I am to be successful, I will need to fully persuade him to assist me. Soon... I shall show my elder brother what true pain feels like, before finally ripping his skull out of his disgusting head." The being growls as they finally walk into a highly lit room of the station, fully revealing themself.

He is a ninja.

Owlzarus examined his tomes, noting the multiverse returning back to its less ravaged state. The balance of existence had been restored... as destiny had stated, the Star of Calamity would fall from his own hubris... and his own lust for power. The wise being knew, however, that the battle for the future of the Multiverse was far from over. More evil lurks around the dimensions... evils far greater than the corrupted ninja and the God of Decay.

Owlzarus could only hope others knew to seek knowledge where it could be found. The future of the multiverse depended on it...

It was surprisingly quick, for Demogorgon to make her way back to where it all began. The darken skies were beginning to brighten, and the plains of the American East were spread before her. In this land, east of the Appalachians, lay a lone ziggurat, once one of many dark temples. At its base lay the bones and rotted flesh of countless sacrifices, of beings brought in for the slaughter of a mad god. She landed at the entrance, and slowly walked in. As she did so, the maid outfit twisted back into the drapping cloak she loved and adored, and her right eye faded into the dark pit left by the archangel Uriel.

This place... it felt hallowed to her, a holy relic of a bygone era. Alone the walls were murals, murals of the innocent being slaughtered, and their flesh twisting into the very thralls that had once served Raspaganje. It had bene here that the ancient wizard Mordred had tried to revive the ancient being, only to fall victim to the Order... and it had been here that Demogorgon, several months prior, had used to lure the heroes of old right into her trap, the trap to resurrect her sealed off master.

But with no master for her to serve, this place would now become her throne.

And there it was. In the grand center of the room she entered, was an obsidian throne, pulsing with negative energy. she walked closer, her feet crushing aged bones and sliding along the dried blood. She could smell it in the air, the scent of dragon, werewolf, harpy, and angel... along with man, the scent oh so stale, and yet, fresh as well, so very fresh in her mind. She sat upon the throne, and swung her left leg over her right. She rested her head in the palm of her right hand, and smiled.

Yes... from here, she would become this world's ruler, this world's dictator... and it's savior. Raspaganje had been a fool, with a hand far too hard, and a tyrannical reign that brought only despair and ruin to him. She had seen his shortcomings, and now, knew a more benevolent hand was required... Or else risk what had become of her former master.

"Let my reign begin." She purred, the hole in her right eye glowing dimly. "A new chapter in this world's history is mine... A chapter where eternal peace and order is maintained... by my power."

Deep in the Netherworld, Aracnera was hard at work. She had felt the terrible powers at work for the final battle, and had contemplated throwing her support in, but right now, she had a rat infestation to deal with. Her sensitive nostrils had picked up an intruder, a being that wasn't meant to be there. She made her way down her webbing, and searched around, but there was nothing. And yet... this scent put her on edge.

She stopped at the bottom of her realm. Beneath the river was her collection of Arbanium crystals, the solidified remains of her webbing. It was here the scent was strongest... She peered her head into the river of souls, but there was nothing. No trace...

And then, it hit her. Now she knew what that scent had been!

Her eight eyes darted in all directions as she calmed herself. That scent... she had assumed it was a demon, a Hellian one at that... but it was something else, one she had hoped would never intrude upon her realm...

That, of a Star Drakon.

"So, I hear Raspaganje has fallen." Kelziro sneered as he rubbed the massive arbanium crystal in his hand. It was a dark realm he was in, and before him was Proditor and Valshir. This realm had once been the Abyss, but when the remaining demon Typhon had left it behind... well, it was all too convenient to set up shop here and do some redecorating. What had once been the great lake of lava, was now a vast darkness, and the great chamber was now littered with hovering islands, buildings upon them. Many angels flew around in the skies, along with demons, all united under one leader. "Talk about the impossible! And with the Ninja dead, nothing can stop us!"

"Except for the heroes." Proditor rumbled. "Our numbers took a heavy toll in that battle, and now the loyal angels outnumber us! If they are to find out..." He shook his head as he looked upon the weird draconic imp before him. "And what of you? Didn't you say you had found a chimera to search out more crystals?"

"Yes... but he had yet to return." Kelziro grumbled. "He must have found some, and dashed off with them! So I went off on my own, and stumbled upon a few dazzling beauties for me to snack on." He gnawed on the crystal, before he stopped. "Ah yes, that reminds me, I found a little something special down in that river in the Netherworld."

"What is it? It can't be of use to us-"

"Bring it before me."

The voice had come from the dark abyss. At once, the two angels bowed low, and Kelziro hobbled forward. He reached into his cloak, and pulled out a jaded red orb of sorts, with energy swirling within. "This I found for you, my lord. I hope you take great use of it."

From the abyss, a vague outline could be seen, a single eye glowing red. Several tentacles lashed out, and grabbed the orb from Kelziro's grasp, before pulling it back in. "Well well... You have found something truly remarkable. You shall be rewarded for your faith, Kelziro. I have great use for this... but it all depends on how my plan goes."

"Your plan?" Valshir asked. "What is... your plan?"

The figure on the edge of the abyss chuckled, a feminine noise. "The two beings that stood in my way are no more. I feared Raspaganje's power, and the Ninja's savageness. But now, they are no more, and those that remain, while strong together, they are weak without one another. And how well can they stop us, if twisted against one another? The seeds of the future are laid down, my children, and our enemies shall claw each other into ruination. The spawn of Gaia and Tartarus shall be first, to feel the blade that smote their parents into oblivion, and those with them shall follow, into eternal darkness."

Molly couldn't sleep. She knew she needed it, but... she just couldn't. She looked over at Demiurge, who was fast asleep beside her in a sleeping bag. She seemed to be at peace... And yet... Molly herself wasn't. Why? Why couldn't she get some rest?

"Child, what ails you? Are you... alright?"

Molly looked around. Where... where had that voice come from? it was then that she noticed, everything around her was greyed out. Demiurge was still, her mouth hung open, and droll frozen on her lip. It was as if... time had stopped. "Who... Who are you?" She called out, as she tried to form her staff in hand... but it didn't. Something was wrong, and it put her on edge.

"Please... Please don't f-fear me!" The voice, timid and shy, cried out. A light appeared in the frozen room, and there, was a girl, slightly older than Molly. Her clothes glittered in the light, and her eyes were large and amber. Her hair was white as snow, and seemed to blow as if there was a breeze. "I'm... I'm here to help, since I saw... you were in distress!" The girl said, shaking visibly. Her eyes darted left and right. "I'm not here to hurt you!"

Molly nervously laughed. This girl was a wreck, even more timid than she had been before her crazy adventure. "Um... who are you? And how did you just pop in here?"

"My... My name's Uriel." The girl spoke. As she did so, six angelic wings burst from her back, and spread from roomtip to roomtip. "I stopped times-s-so the others wouldn't be involved." She began to blush, and look around nervously. "It was.. .my power I lent to you against the Ninja and Raspaganje, to help you. I am here... to help this pure-hearted witch."

"Wait." Molly stopped. "You're... Uriel? The same Uriel Demmy kept saying stabbed her eye out?" She paused, and then finally spoke. "Wow..."

"Yes... I know of Demmy, and she'd want me dead if she knew I was here with you." Uriel shook. "So please, don't tell anyone I'm here helping you. It's just.. I was tortured by a nasty demon... and it left me shook up."

"Well... I guess you can stay with me... I won't tell anyone, I promise." Molly said. "We can help each other out."

"Thank you... Together... we can... Erm, We can... ummm..."

"Try to make this world a better place?"

"Yes! Yes we can!" Uriel said, nodding frantically. "Anything we can do together! Heaven itself thinks I am dead... so... I'll just make your mind my new place to live in... please?"

Molyl didn't even have time to voice an objection before the angel turned into light, and flew into her. THe energy dispersed within, and with that, time resumed. Demiurge's snoring drew the girl's attention to this fact, and she shrugged. That was... weird... but she guessed she could be trusted. After all, an angel like her needed her... and she was... oddly cute.

And so, she drifted off to sleep, as Uriel set up shop in her soul and mind...and the first thing to go, was the connection between her and Ubel, the gift Ubel had given her... shorted out and severed. And no one would know of it...

"Let's go, it should be interesting to find a few things about this Earth," Jake said. The name was oddly familiar, but he had only ever heard it briefly mentioned. Even then, his vague recollection could come from his own universe.

"Kustrik mentioned a human deity," Dana said, straining her brain to remember its name. "Maybe I could find out more about it?"

The sound of Optimus Prime covering "Enter Sandman" could be heard approaching. He appeared, standing atop Superion's shoulder with a microphone in hand. Superion was battered, scratched and covered in filth, he was even missing a pinky finger. Optimus was in a similar condition as he was set down in front of them. Superion divided into five robots once Optimus was down. "We have lost many, yet prevailed. The ones who have fallen will be remembered and hailed as heroes. If you would like, we will tag along with you to the next destination."

"I don't see why not," Dana replied. Jackie Chan talked quietly to her. "What, the ship couldn't be done by now?"

"Escort mission," said a helicopter Cybertronian. "Great, it is unhealthy to just stop all octane."

"I doubt that is true," said another Aerialbot. Optimus put his palm to his face, looking to the crew apologetically.

As the group approached the Cybertronian ship, Jackie Chan inquired, "What was that thing about superheroes earlier?"

"I was given my destiny, Jackie. I would train Dana but be a great crusader against those that seek to ravage, deface and destroy." Jake replied.

"So you are trapped doing only things pertaining to that," Jackie Chan said. "A slave of an existence."

"No, it really is my calling. Learning why you are here is what you are is satisfying, both questions should always be answered in my book. Maybe you have different ideals, I don't know nor mind. But for those that do most certain wrongs, they must know that I may have a say in it."

The pirate ships vanished. Jake, Jackie Chan, Dana, Si
John Sinister, Optimus Prime and the Aerialbots boarded the Cybertronian ship.
