Energon, limbs, and molten metal scatter in all directions as Starscream makes a successful bombing run on an unlucky squad of Autobot scouts. Chuckling to himself, the Seeker breaks off from formation and proceeds back to his majestic perch atop of Kaon's highest peak. As he swoops in toward a pillar, Starscream snatches the edge of the massive appendage and does a midair backflip onto the roof.

"This battle has been raging on for almost an entire day now, and we aren't making any noticeable progress; there must be something that can be done in order to put a lasting dent in the Autobot's forces". Starscream contemplates, rubbing his optics. He walks to the edge of the peak, and watches the battle go on before him, explosions left and right, soldiers on both sides being slaughtered every few seconds, and the entire Decepticon faction being in complete disarray. No progress will be made like this, a new plan must be created, or else they'll never put any lasting damage on the opposing team. Starscream activates his comm link, but hesitates for a moment, thinking of how such an action could effect their possible victory here; but also how the likely chance of that happening without the Decepticons loosing a plethora of soldiers and resources, are slim to none.

"Decepticons, this is Commander Starscream. I am ordering all remaining forces to fall back and regroup immediately, we are running low on both resources, Energon, and bot-power; and we need to restock and produce a feasible plan to drive the Autobots back, while also putting a lasting dent in their ranks. As for the refinery, whoever is wielding a detpack will plant them across various points of the refinery, and level it. That is all". Starscream says, sending his message to every Decepticon in the nearest vicinity

Snarl, reluctantly, tails behind Grimlock. He waits for Grimlock to give him orders, ready to stare death in the face.

Thankfully for Swoop, he managed to send out a distress signal to the other Dynobots before falling into stasis....but he was currently dealing with his own problems.
Inside his dormant body, Swoop was still quite active, albeit not in any physically detectable manner. Spending his time tinkering with his systems, Swoop waited patiently for the other Dynobots to arrive. Due to his modified systems, he could also pick up radio waves; though because he was stasis locked, he had no way of warning the other Dynobots of anything he did pick up.

His internal computers weren't helping, either.
"Spark chamber critically damaged. Further injury will result in spark disengagement."
Like I can do anything about it? he grumbled. As much as Swoop was happy his computers were still functioning, he still had the little problem of a gaping hole through his spark chamber to worry about. Unable to communicate with any other Autobot, he was, for the first time since he had joined the Dynobots, truly and utterly alone.

And it made him nervous, as much as he was loathe to admit. His computers were the only thing keeping him from simply dozing off; and he worried if dozing off would take his spark.

Once again, his internal computers decided to speak.
"Repairs due for completion in approximately 2 cycles. Prognosis: You should have lived with the knowledge that you ran instead of having fought and nearly died. Have a nice day. "

....mental note: Fisitronisms become far less funny when used sarcastically. he grumbled to himself.

You know, I wonder if the Decepticons have found me yet...

[Kaijunator]

Grimlock receives the signal. "Swoop's hurt. In stasis. We need to get him. Now!" Grimlock roared as he and Snarl ran toward Swoop's body. Grimlock transforms into robot and picks up Swoop. "We need to hide somewhere. The remains of the ship! We can hide inside until Swoop's repairs are done. Snarl, cover me as we travel to the ship."

As Whirl searched desperately for medical assistance, he reflected on the events leading up to his current predicament. Several months ago he had been a member of the Wreckers, with them he had everything he ever wanted, an enjoyable job, both respect, and probably the most important ( at least to Whirl ) the fear of those around him. And for the first time as long as he could remember, a family, Roadbuster and his equal love of combat, Kup and his stories of past campaigns were always a delight to listen to, Rack'n Ruin while a couple of conjoined freaks where fragin awesome freaks, mean as rabid turbo foxes those two.

Though like every family, there's always the black sheep. Springer had never been what you'd call uptight; especially in comparison to bots like Optimus, Prowl or Ultra Magnus, but he was the one who kept psychos like him in check, sort of like an anoying and lame older brother ( except Whirl was pretty sure he was 300 years his senior ) but he was still family...at least he was. They had shown their true colors, while on the outside they seemed like the sort of bots Whirl could be himself around, it turned out he was more alone than he ever imagined. It was a simple enough mission, arrest suspected autobot traitors and get them to confess to their crimes, that's it, let Ultra Magnus handle the rest...if only it was that simple.

" ugh, I need help...HEY SOME MEDICAL ASSISTANCE WOULD BE GREAT!!!..just sayin...

The Dinobots arrive at the ruined ship. He heard Whirl's cries for help. Swoop's repairs were halfway through. "Snarl, stay here with Swoop. Whirl's hurt badly. I'm going to help him." Grimlock goes Dino mode and goes to Whirl's location. He notices Whirl's head is almost gone. "Whirl, it's me, Grimlock. Leader of the Dinobots. Can you walk? We've found a place we're using to protect injured 'Bots. I'll guide you there. Swoop's repairs should be done by the time we get there." Grimlock escorts Whirl to the ship while burning 'Cons that want to finish the job. They arrive at the ship. "Snarl, are Swoop's repairs done? Hope there's something that fix that. Whirl's head is almost gone."

GearBlazers units find a back passage where the get into theEnergon Refinery.

"Everyone stay quite. Grab what Energon you can and get out as quick as possible no matter what." GearBlazer says.

A 'Con squad spotted Grimlock and opened fire. Grimlock roared and roasted them with his flame breath.

[Breakdown]

Having since dealt with the snipers, Breakdown is now on the roadway that led away from the factory......and into the middle of nowhere.

"Ah, lugnuts."

Breakdown thought to himself.

"Brekduwn! go find burricade!!!"

Breakdown says mocking Starscream. Starscream could have at least told him where he could start looking, rather than having to drive all over Cybertron to look for him. Breakdown would rather be taking part in the battle; for once, he was kinda having fun, in a suicidal kind of way.

Starscream produces a sigh of annoyance, and turns away from the battlefield.

"Breakdown, your comms are still on you paranoid fool... And change of plans, Barricade can rot in an acid pool for all I care; YOU will instead go to Kaon to find some heavy weaponry, and bring them back here for use. The first place I would start, is Megatron's personal weapons vault; there should be a stockpile of Nuclean Shock Cannons, and grenade launchers contained in it. Get as many as possible and get back here, hurry up. Also, I have sent out a message to all Decepticons in the vacinity, ordering them to rendezvous to my position, as we need to come up with a strategy to drive the Autobots back, and put a permeant dent in their ranks; let any fellow Decepticon that you see know, and next time... Remember to turn your comms off before mocking someone, especially me ... Or else I'll take your head off. Starscream out." Starscream then returns to his perch at the very edge of the massive Kaon structure. "Idiot" he thinks to himself.

[Breakdown]

Upon hearing Starscream's displeased rantings sputter onto the comms, Breakdown's spark skipped a metaphorical beat. He'd think that with his rampaging paranoia he'd disable his comms before making fun of the head honcho.

"I..uh..YES, Lord Starscream! It won't happen again, your incredible brilliance!"

Breakdown didn't care if what he said made no sense, for he knew that to get Starscream off your back all you had to do was feed his ego and he'd soak up that praise like a sponge.

"I'm heading to Kaon now. I should arrive 15 nano-cycles"

Breakdown said, acknowledging his orders. Purple flames erupted from the 6 exhausts on the back of his vehicle mode as he kicked it into high gear. Within short notice he was surrounded by arid wasteland, with occasionally twisted wreckage that fell from space dotting the rusty orange expanse of land. In the distance he could see purple lights and tall, spiky towers which where clearly of Decepticon design. In the very center was the tallest building of them all, with a crown of claw-like spines at its apex. This was Shockwave's Tower. Overhead the skies grew dark and rain began to fall upon the Decepticon capitol. Surrounding the city was a several story high metal wall lined with spines; some with the impaled bodies of Autobots who foolishly attempted to charge the perimeter. The only entrance was guarded by two hulking Decepticon warriors carrying spears. Their appearance intimidated Breakdown who in robot mode would probably only come up to their knee.

One of the guards stepped forward and held out his right palm.

"HALT"

He bellowed as Breakdown's tires squealed to a stop, his vehicle mode now hovering in the air.

The guard examined Breakdown, before spotting the Decepticon insignia on his hood. The guard grunted and motioned for Breakdown to enter, as the massive gate leading into Kaon opened.

"Thank the Maker that's over. Those guys where freaking me out, staring at me like that. Makes my plating crawl..."

Breakdown drove past one of the several military outposts in the city, communication equipment, Energon cubes, ammo crates, all stockpiled for use in the Decepticon war machine. Several soldiers watched as Breakdown glided past them; he could feel their stares on his hull. They where watching him, he was sure of it. Making fun of his size, his paint job, his rims, EVERYTHING. Breakdown's nervousness knew no bounds, even when he was among allies.

Gearblazer and his crew snuck some energon out of the redinery and escaped.

Grimlock signals his location to the 'Bots with a column of flame from the wreckage of the ship. Whirl and Swoop might need it.

As more landed beside Starscream, she turned to look at something in the distance, mouth twisting below her black, opaque visor.

"Permission to pursue and kill, sir?"

She cocked her head, looking like a hunting-falcon waiting for its master to sic it on a rabbit.

Starscream eyes his first lieutenant with a look of wonder, and then produces a small chuckle.

"Permission granted. Just don't take too long, understand? We need every Decepticon head accounted for in order for a reasonable and valid attack strategy to form; but, once you do kill the bogey... Bring it to me." Starscream commands, turning away from Mire as more Decepticons arrive on the scene.

GearBlazer see's Grimlocks signal.

"Well I thought he was dead. I was wrong."

Behind Starscream approached a flying wing which, as it neared Kaon, unfolded into a femmebot. The decepticon landed on her feet and strode toward her leader, sheathing two blades in her back. The jet-black 'bot kneeled briefly before standing up and addressing him.

"Starscream," the stealthy Banshee spoke in smooth yet modulated tones, clasping her hands. "Where to?"

Starscream turns around, and his optics widen a bit, he hasn't seen or heard from Banshee in weeks; and he finally concluded that she may be offline, or worse, captured and held prisoner by the Autobots. He twists his face into a small smirk, of relief? No, Starscream is too proud and narcissistic for that. He would question her about her whereabouts for the last four weeks, but decides against it; right now is about handling business, he will question Banshee another time.

"Banshee, you're in charge of demolition duty. I need you to turn that Energon factory into a smoldering pit of ash and debris, we may lose the Energon contained inside of it, but destroying the refinery is the only way at keeping it from the Autobots, and starving them further. Then I want you to spread my message of rendezvous to any Decepticon that might have out of range long enough to not have heard it, and then return here and wait for the others to arrive; once they do, we will all go to the conference halls of Kaon, and come up with an attack strategy to put a massive permeant dent in the Autobot's ranks. Go." Starscream calmly but firmly commands.
