Both the crazy villagers and the first fight against the wendigo, until Bobo & Don Patch got involved that is. That's what killed my original interest in the RP.Giratina93 wrote:Narisa: Are you referring to the crazy villager stuff, or the Wendigo arc itself? Because that stuff all pales to my glorious arc. Oh yes I was so excited for the hell arc.Giratina93 wrote:I feel the best thing I had going with the original was the Trever/Narissa angle that was going on before the second half of the story, as well as Demogorgon during the Raspaganje arc.
The Wendigo took FOREVER to beat. It was like a whole month before we beat the guy.Vatarian wrote:Wendigo: Yep, ahuh, and I was a masterfully developed character. *cough* Paragon of meaningful traits was I....

Re: Supernatural Times RPG Redux discussion
Wendigo did take a LOOOOONG time to beat. He was definitely the longest fight in the RPG, if one doesn't count the Maledict/Raspaganje one.
And yes, those two characters sorta... did absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. Lazying around and goofing off when there wasn't fighting, with no plot of sense of seriousness.

Hopefully, the other RPG's look to be stagnant or to far along to catch my attention.Godzilla The King wrote:So is the reboot a thing?

The Wendigo was meant to feel very much like a Dark Souls boss-- painfully genre-savvy, very durable, and hard-hitting.
Unfortunately, in a roleplay, where no one really knew hat it was supposed to be weak to fire, it just came off as a ludicrous bullet-sponge.

3rd time's a charm right? We all seem to express interest in a reboot.

I knew it was weak to fire when I had a hybrid dragon character, but that's because I knew most folk lore about wendigo's as it's a favorite mythological creature I liked to study.Vatarian wrote:The Wendigo was meant to feel very much like a Dark Souls boss-- painfully genre-savvy, very durable, and hard-hitting.

I was hoping we could continue this from where we left off. Unless tou want another reboot. As long as I get to be a werewolf I'm good.

Too much to pick up from, something new would be better. And you can still be a werewolf.ernesth100 wrote:I was hoping we could continue this from where we left off. Unless tou want another reboot. As long as I get to be a werewolf I'm good.

Same. But I'm ill tonight. Not ready to just jump in. And besides that, we should talk a bit more. And then we can make a discussion thread.

Re: Supernatural Times RPG Redux discussion
I think we should do what we did with Star Wars and settle the lore before starting, so things make sense.
