The Terro-Beasts. Zandora’s steam was able to put a real hurting on Godzilla and Zone Fighter, it’ll wreak havoc on the Showa trio. Wargilgar’s arsenal is nothing to sneeze at, and against foes like these, it’ll be enough to deal noteworthy damage. Spyler can’t do too much, unless they can manage to make it a 3v2 before Spyler’s too badly damaged, in which case he can provide a bit of support.

The Terro-Beasts have this. While Anguirus and Rodan are durable monsters, they aren’t going to be working together as a team as much as the Terro-Beasts are. Mothra Larva might be able to stop Spylar, but Zandora uses Burning Hot Drug Steam, and Wargilgar has a flamethrower.

As for why the Terro-Beasts win this, teamwork. While Spylar only has Blinding Knob Lights, he is the leader of the group. He was Wargilgar’s Master, ordering the other one around. He would be able to plot out a way for his more powerful allies to deal with their enemies, considering they were beating Zone Fighter until Godzilla showed up.

Zandora can Tunnel and match Anguirus in combat, plus his microid drug steam was strong enough to hurt Godzilla and Zone Fighter. Add in the revolving drill head and his shovel claws and you have a dangerous close combat monster.

Wargilgar is more of the mid-ranged Fighter with his flamethrower, capable of taking out and countering Mothra Larva and perhaps burning the others.

Even if Rodan were to stay in the air, he’d have to come down at some point to attack, upon which he is going to get either burned, steamed, or blinded, then jumped by the others.

Yeah, Zandora's steam might have hurt the duo, but Rodan and Anguirus tanked Godzilla's beam and kept going. Sure, it'll hurt, but I can't see Wargilgar's fire or Zandora's steam being too effective.

Overall, this is really close but I will have to go with the Terror-Beasts mainly because once Larva's gone, I can't see the duo holding off the trio, especially since Anguirus will probably be alone on the ground as Rodan circles from above. I think one or two beasts will die, from Anguirus ripping and tearing everything he can, but it just won't be enough...

Any clips to see what the Terror Beast Trio can do? I've seen a grand total of 2 ZF episodes and neither included any of these guys. Anguirus will be the workhorse this match, with his bite and endurance, Rodan is a wildcard since he only ever actually fought aggressively in GTTHM and Astro Monster, in DAM he noped out as soon as the beams started flying. Mothra is a distraction/inconvenience at best. Abstaining until I see stuff for the ZF trio.
