Match 37: Ebirah vs. Minilla
Yipee.


Ebirah

Ebirah is 50 emters tall and weighs 23,000 tons. For this match, Ebirah is considered to have no disadvantage (including mobility, stamina, and strength) while on land compared to being in the sea.

vs.

Minilla
Image
Minilla is scaled to 20 meters and 3,000 tons. This is Minilla from the end of Son of Godzilla/start of DAM. As such, he is out of the helpless newborn stage and capable of walking, but does not have the anthromoporphization, intelligence, or tactics from All Monsters Attack, or any coaching from Godzilla. However, as if his tail was in a constant state of being stepped on, he does have access to atomic breath on command, just as Godzilla does. (And no, his smoke rings do not have any Ghidorah-strangling properties for the purposes of this match). ;)


Arena: Waist-height ocean depths (Minilla is standing on a broad atoll for height purposes).

Rules: Minilla is not considered to be susceptible to drowning.

Ebirah. Once again, size is Minya's (Minilla's?) downfall. The atomic breath will hurt, but Ebirah can and will tear Minya apart with his claws, and Minya will not have the strength to fight him off.

That's funny, because I think that's the general consensus; I'd expected the opposite result. Seemed to me that Minilla was shown to be claw-resistant, and it only took- what? 2 atomic breaths to put Ebirah down?

But then, my ability to predict how this tournament would go has already been shown to be about as effective as... well, whoever will be last standing in the Loser's Bracket. :)

Ebirah He has the size and strength advantage. I just don't think Minilla is strong enough or durable enough to defeat him.

Well, it must've been all that rock-throwing that really led to Ebirah's downfall before, because not even an atomic breath is enough to grant Minilla a victory!
