Match 9: Biollante (rose form) vs. Varan

Biollante (rose form)

Biollante is scaled to 50 meters and 60,000 tons. While technically immortal and able to dissolve into glowing pollen, being forced to do so is considered a defeat. Biollante is considered to have access to water (for root bed to be planted in, and for tendrils to ambush from.)

vs.

Varan

Varan is 50 meters tall and weighs 15,000 tons.

Arena: A harbor, bordering both an urban sprawl, and forested park area.

Rules: Match takes place in water deep enough not only for Biollante’s conditions, but for Varan to attack above or below the water.

Biollante Rose Form
Varan's not going to like being impaled with vines and injected with acid.

While just a held back version of the main Biollante, Rose form still has vines that shoot acid. I love Varan, but he has nothing to take out Biollante before the vines and acid take him out. Biollante(rose form)

As others mentioned, Varan doesn't have the necessary tools to deal with Biollante (rose form), while she can spear him and coat him in acid.

I think this is closer than most think but Biollante has the edge with acid blood and tendrils.

Varan will be able to sink his claws in, but that's all he'll get, because the moment Biollante Rose fights back, it's over in a storm of acid and vines.
