WotW Round 1: Ganimes vs. Zigra

Match 16: Ganimes vs. Zigra

Zigra

Zigra in action (well, being defeated; the internet is a little stingy with Zigra battle clips).
Zigra is scaled to 50 meters, 8,000 tons. Zigra is in land form. Zigra's paralyzing ray wears off after 30 seconds.

vs.

Ganimes

Ganimes is scaled to 50 meters and 33,000 tons. Considered to have the amoeba’s intelligence.

Arena: Shallow water

Rules: Water is too shallow for either kaiju to be immersed in, and Zigra will not get any of its underwater benefits.

Really? Zigra's beam is still enabled. That beam stops organics and it takes electricity of a high voltage to revive Gamera sized monsters. Ganimes gets frozen by beam, and Zigra just slaps the shit out of him with his fins.

A better choice would have been Viras.

Ganimes is too slow to avoid so he gets shot then slaughtered.

Now that the beam has been nerfed, I actually have to give it to Ganimes. Zigra doesn't have anything to hurt Ganimes aside from the beam, so I can see it being a long bout, but in the end, I can see Ganimes winning in the end.

Very well. Due to popular demand, Zigra's beam will be considered to have limited duration; the paralysis lasts for only 30 seconds (and requires another 3 seconds before it can be fired again). If anyone wishes to re-evaluate votes based upon this, please feel free to.

Still voting for Zigra, he's much more mobile then Ganimes is.

You know Ebirah? Imagine that but the claws are evenly sized. Also, he can spit bubbles, but they do nothing.

It seems that Zigra on land isn't so pathetic as I'd thought; even with a nerfed yellow ray, the close of voting sees ol shark-head declared the winner!
