Damn, i'm pretty excited to see this short film. The set and the recreated G54 suit are amazing :D

That's probably why it's not getting much attention: there's a very slim chance this gets released outside of the museum exhibit.

Though we did get a release of Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo, which was a short film for a Studio Ghibli museum so anything's possible...

Do we have any actual confirmation that this will be released after the exhibit is over? And does anyone know if any, of this exhibit or showing is temporary? I’m most likely moving to japan sometime between April and August and I’d like to see it if possible.

Just be aware on the off chance that this never gets some formal outside release.

Anyone know if this shirt is still playing at the museum? I have week off for golden week, so even if it’s far I might head north and see it.

That is awesome! I am glad that we will get to see what these effects look like with modern techniques. Maybe it will inspire more projects like it.
