Any sort of bug Kaiju could be used as some big swarm, or pose a threat in that regard. That’s essentially part of Megaguirus, and Destroyah are to a degree. Same thing with the Muto’s and Trilopods.

There’s a lot of good fiction with giant evil bugs just breeding and multiplying though. Wouldn’t mind Godzilla vs Kamacuras when there’s like hundreds of them and then a big queen. But then again we are just recycling Megaguirus.

I say they play a supporting role in a film.

A Kaiju based on a Star Nosed Mole

Another one based on marine life (like a Barracuda)

One based on a Prehistoric Mammal

One Based on a Triceratops

Also a Hybrid Creature, like a Centipede like creature with a head of a Spider and Claws and Tail of a Scorpion

These are just my suggestions of new kaiju ideas.

Outside of Gigan,Manda,Bagan,and Rodan I kinda want to see what ever the things growing on shin gojira back would have become. That and maybe a Japan take on the mutos would be intersing.

I just thought that Biollante could be a good fit for this universe. Given that it was an experiment by a scientist combining the DNA of Godzilla with a plant which led to the creature of the crocodile plant (and also the soul of a lady, I don't remember specifically but that was weird), the same story could be done here (without the psychic, that wouldn't make sense even in this universe. The lady spirit has to go, too). Shin Godzilla would be a fascinating kaiju to the world of science, after all.

If the MonsterVerse ends with GvK (which it probably will) I hope Toho goes back to a more traditional Godzilla instead of the weird incarnations they’ve been putting out recently.

The only thing I want to see is a real vision. Hideki Anno had an idea and knew what he wanted to accomplish with Shin. It had a point. The anime movies....were mostly run of the mill, generic anime tropes. If Toho is wanting to relaunch the franchise with more live action films then they need to have a plan and idea of what they want to accomplish. If they're inspired by Marvel then be inspired in the right way. Be inspired by the vision to plan years ahead into the future with the ability to make interesting creative risks as well as to largely push quality over quantity. Don't be like DC Comics and only see dollar signs followed by many years and several movies of cinematic, creative, critical, and general audience failures.

To have the monsters actually show some character. I loved how much the Monsterverse titans were as characters with disctinct personalities, motivations and actions. Make any monsters that have large roles in future movies show that at least level of distinction. Oh and also give us proper fights instead of slideshows. Planet Eater had an amazing Ghidorah in terms of character, background and motivation but in my opinion, he was absolutely pathetic when he showed up, seeming more like an anticlimactically defeated pawn of the Exif despite things established to be the other way around and contrasting with all his descriptions. Show more, tell less.

After seeing a not quite wooly mammoth in KOTM, a wooly mammoth. Never knew how much I wanted one until now, can't believe it was never done before during the suitamation days.

I think a gigantic bear monster would be cool. brown, black, polar. i don't know but it would certainly be something to see.

also , a lion or tiger. a big cat esc creature was planned for KOTM yet we never saw it and that's a real shame. hopefully Toho takes clues.

oh and i want Maguma back. except this time he's , y'know, ACTUALLY a walrus and not a reptile.
