As many clips as have hit the web, I'm so pumped to see everything tonight, especially form 3, we've seen almost nothing of it in action, only just forming from Form 2.

How big of a crowd are you guys expecting tonight? Have any of you checked with your theater to see how ticket sales were going?

Maybe you could find out yourself at your theatre. Since you're so concerned about it. But, hey, it's not everyday you saved enough to binge on the Dollar Menu, amirite? Pick me up a McDouble while you're there, thanks.
I will explain slowly why you are wrong.

Offering up a basic ethical standard is not the same as issuing an order.
Tokyo, a smoldering memorial to the unknown, an unknown which at this very moment still prevails and could at any time lash out with its terrible destruction anywhere else in the world.

I don't care how it sells per theater so I haven't asked, but I'm expecting a small crowd at my theater, I doubt the trailer has been shown much and it certainly doesn't sell the movie well to casual fans, and of the locations in MA showing it, I'm going to the one most likely to have the smallest crowds.

I know the screening Jenn and I are going to tonight sold out over a week ago. Small theater, but still.

Alright - let's all lay off Underworld. It's derailing the topic and I think everyone here is turning the horse into glue. Eabaker and Heartless summed it up very nicely last page.

Let's get back to spoiling ourselves on Shin Godzilla.

I can afford it too, but I'd rather spend it on something that's not going to put me to sleep. I've already seen a majority of the Godzilla scenes, so what's left?

That's cool, should add to the overall experience.

I believe what's left is called a movie.

Anyway.

The Wed and Sat show at Alamo Drafthouse in Yonkers are almost sold out, literally a handful of seats (a lot of them handicapped) are left. It's gonna be quite interesting seeing a Godzilla film with this many people. I hope it brings out some delightfully weird and adorable peeps.

I actually want a small crowd, I know it's a bad sign for the movie, but I'd rather the theater be filled with a small number of people who truly appreciate the movie and the series and will respect the experience being there than be full of teens who think it's "neat" and act obnoxious the whole time.

Alamo Drafthouse thankfully does not tolerate obnoxious patrons who talk over movies or can't unglue themselves from their phone screens for 2 hours. They are promptly escorted out and removed from the premises without a refund. This tends to keep the riff-raff out.

Don't worry this movie is gonna suck so much balls and bore them to death that they won't need to be escorted out...they'll do that themselfs...

May have to start going here. More and more lately, going to the movies has become more of an annoyance than anything. Motherfuckers cant help but talk during a movie or pull out their phones and it just annoys the fuck out of me. Even at the Killing Joke showing (which i thought would be full of fans) had people talking over it and kicking my seat.

Really need to find a better theater experience or else I will just be buying digital copies and watching from home.

Interesting attempt at humor, though rather pedestrian in execution.

I think the people will stay in their seats and enjoy the film just fine.

It wasn't humor. I see the future and I see them walking out in droves.

I'm proud to say I enforce the "no ruining the experience" rule at my theater and have kicked out droves of teens. The Killing Joke showing here was bad as well, there were many people removed for being on their phones constantly. The highlight of that night was all the awkward laughter from the Batman/Batgirl sex scene....

Sounds nice, last movie I saw was Now You See Me 2 and this couple brought a newborn baby.
