Probably another member who was a good troll.

His description of Godzilla being a tadpole is vague. The first and second forms aren't exactly tadpoles but they're very similar. Likewise he mentioned a train bomb, which wound up being accuarate but he seemed to say it only as one train, and more towards the beginning. The end has tons of trains slam into Godzilla in a large assault in the climax. He also didn't mention anything regarding the laser beam or Godzilla's back spines.

Most likely he was either a troll who got some things right, or someone that vaguely knew some things he really didn't have a whole idea.



Anyways, isn't there a scene where the fragmentation theory kind of becomes bunk? I believe it's the scene where everyone is discussion a fragment of the destroyed fin from the assault by the stealth bomber. IIRC it's mentioned then in the same scene about Godzilla possibly being able to fly something about asexual reproduction. I could be wrong, but it could also be the same thing you mention about fragmentation.

One thing I like about the film, and also really hate, is how vague it is on some things regarding Godzilla's origin and exactly what he could or could not become. It keeps a sense of mystery and awe, making you wonder what Godzilla could become next. I just hope if we ever get sequels they will elaborate.

I'm still in favor of the "amalgam of assorted organisms" origin.

How can you be in favor of essentially a misinterpreted fan rumor before the film came out? It's mindboggling to me. Had no one brought it up beforehand no one would draw the same conclusion from watching the finished film.

That's just not true. Plenty of people on the net who didn't know anything about this before it came out, who have never even heard of tohokingdom before, came to similar conclusions on other discussion forums I have visited.

For skreeonks sake.........I wouldn't doubt this be something they would go for, and somebody actually liking it.

I like it....apart from the 3rd eye and the goddamned tail being too mutilated and too short, that is. Also, the style is kinda now, Shin-Esque if that's a thing. kinda ruins it for me.

Game Grumps just did a review on Shin if any of you would like to hear their stance on it. They brought up and reinforced a ton of good points in here, and their mindsets just further cements my own that Shin Godzilla is an excellent, excellent film.
