Well, we could...but odd are there might be separate threads in either the general Toho section and the Heisei section concerning least favorite roars already.

What are your thoughts about mixing it up: King Ghidorah's roar alternating within the movie (or game) between his Showa and Heisei incarnations?

I can understand. There was a time when I preferred Heisei Ghidorah's roar because it sounded more threatening.

as far as the 90's ghidorah's roar/cry is concerned, i agree that it's nowhere near as interesting as the showa one. maybe it's just that i grew up with that one, but it sounds like ghidorah to me when there are little chirps and whatnots going on instead of pseudo rodan roars.

Not at all...and at the moment, I see no reason to. However, I have asked certain questions on threads which some people felt were off topic, and guess what? They put me in my place by making that exact same comment. Looking back, I now see that they were right. Carrying over that experience, I did what I felt was proper protocol, and recited what was once stated to me (with the exception of the tone of humility I felt the others lacked as they approached me).

i don't think you get it. i started this thread. i came up with the topic of discussion. several posts in you said this:

it's not proper protocol to come into someone else's thread and try to lay down guidelines if you're not a mod. i'm not trying to be a dick, and i don't think you are either. it's just one of those kinda things

Ok this is gonna sound weird but I never really liked the roars godzilla used during the late 60's and 70's.
Just to high pitch and so constant. He must had alot to say!

But those were the standard roars we got used to. Without them, we wouldn't have the variations of the Heisei and the Millennium series. Buuuut...I do understand everybody will have different opinions.
What do you mean by 'he must have had a lot to say?' You talking about what Godzilla would say...or was saying?

Personally, the ones I consider annoying would be Minilla's squeaking and braying. Buuuut...despite my opinion, Minilla's roar is still a Godzilla standard (clenches teeth in annoyance while watching Son of Godzilla).

Minya's roar. It shouldn't even exist.

Titanosaurus. It's the only thing I don't like about the monster. King Kong/Seesar isn't too hot either.
