Most Annoying/Least Favorite monster roar

who has that roar that just gets on your nerves? you my like the monster itself, its powers, even the films it's in, but just hate its roar.

for me its the showa gamera. it sounds like the belt slipping on an older model car.
close second is gabbera. i don't even know what to make of that, but god is it a bad sound to listen to.

how bout you guys?

Hmm... Minya is the only one I can think of off the top of my head, though I just generally don't like him, anyway. Otherwise, the Showa movies are pretty solid in terms of roars.

I can deal with the less then stunning design but dat voice sounds like a cat in it's final death throes.

It's Minya. He sounds like a donkey, and his speaking voice is just as bad.

Varan's roar is weird to me, it sounds like Godzilla burping up a carbonated beverage.

Godzilla's roar from Godzilla vs. Mothra is downright harsh on the ears, and the roars from the following two films aren't much better.

Gabera/Gabara gets my vote, for sure...ughhhh thats beyond grating.
Love the suit, though. Wish that he got more love from the toy companies....there are only 2-3 different versions of him out there, right?

Always thought that the Spiegas/Kumongas had pretty awful cries, as well....those shrill, metallic whistles....

I'm definitely going with Minya, though I've met a lot of folks who complain about the Titanosaurus roar, I like it.

The flame suit won't work against thrown bricks. Anguirus has one of the best roars, easily. *throws brick*

Gonna agree that Titanosaurus has a decent roar, too. It's... unusual, certainly, but it suits him.

I may get flamed for this, but honestly, Heisei King Ghidorah's roar really bothers me. It's incredibly lame.

None of the other monster roars bother me, from any era. I like that Japanese monsters have unique characteristics like this, and that (most) of them sound different from one another.
