Know what's a neat little detail? Mechagodzilla's Space Beams have all 7 of the colors of the rainbow in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla, but in Terror of Mechagodzilla several colors have been removed from it, and even white has been added to it.

I guess they removed some colors to save on time animating it, but overall it fits with the sequels darker atmosphere, along with MG2 having a less shiny and more dull appearance.
