Say something negative about the Showa series

Even though I have an appreciation for the movie Son of Godzilla, I NEVER liked the design on Minilla.

I always joke that Godzilla needs to go on Maury and get a paternity test, because no way on Earth that thing is his kid.

That's one thing the Heisei series definitely got right over the Showa. The baby Godzilla LOOKS like Godzilla, grows throughout the series, and eventually becomes an adult Godzilla. Nice payoff. The only hiccup was the middle stage, Little Godzilla, was obnoxiously cute.
