Character discussion:Sakurai and Kinsaburo
Here are the two main characters of KK vs G; The brave Sakurai and the human monster detector Kinsaburo. There's not much I can say about Sakurai except that Tadao Takashima does a fine job with his performance. Kinsaburo does well as the comic side kick, even if the lizard scene is a little silly. Still, his corns are reliable.
The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you've got it made.

For some reason I always remember these guys' first interaction with the natives on Kong's island, offering their radio and handing everyone smokes.
I don't know. They're kind of nothing characters, but they're so charming that they seem a lot more distinct to me than some of the other leading males in the '60s films.
