Ghidorah was stunned that's all. But, that's all the others needed in order to keep him on the ground long enough to FINISH HIM!!

Also Ghidorah almost took Gorosarus out earlier with his Gravity Beams, a single indirect one sent him on his knees so Ghidorah got some direct ones in he probably would have killed him since he seems like the type that doesn't have much Resistance to energy weapons. I'm by no means calling him pathetic however, since he was a very important key fighter in that his kick allowed the others to kill Ghidorah before he could get away like he always did before.

He also demonstrated great strength before that kick by being the only monster to actually drag KG down to the ground. Hell, even Godzilla had to hit King Ghidorah with his tail a couple of times to keep him from flying off again, not to mention use his breath on the neck that Anguirus had previously chomped on.

Hmm, I remember Godzilla managed to burn some of the scales with several point blank blasts, which was pretty cool since long range blasting in IOAM had no effect and Ghidorah just walked through it, but who was responsible for the bleeding neck? I forgot was it Godzilla or Anggy who made one of the side necks bleed?

That was Angilas, though Godzilla did bite Ghidora's back a little bit and made that bleed too.

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but I'll say it again here.

I take Goro's reaction to the Gravity beam (which COMPLETELY missed him) as a "HOLY SHIT WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" moment. Keep in mind, he'd probably never encountered a beam weapon prior to that. He also dropped to a knee for all of half a second before standing back up and coming back completely unfazed. And again, the beam missed him entirely. Taking those things into consideration, which sounds like the more plausible explanation to you:

1) Gorosaurus is so weak against beam attacks that one that didn't even hit him hurt him so badly that it nearly dropped him but despite that he completely recovered from it almost instantly.
2) Gorosaurus, having never encountered a beam weapon before, was startled when one was shot at his feet and stumbled slightly, but he got over it and continued fighting.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with option 2.

Clearly Gorosaurus needs to invest in Special Defense EV's.

Gorosaurus is definitely my favorite monster. I like him for being such a random monster. You look at him and think he's just a generic giant dinosaur. Then he kicks you right in the goddamn face and you're eating your words. It's such a simple, yet unique take on a retrosaur idea.

i agree, cuz if u look back at KKE,the only thing he encounters is a pissed off ape.i honestly think he was startled at the gravity beams, got over it,and charged in like ur typical pissed-off theropod

I loved Gorosaurus, he's on my top 10 favorite Godzilla Kaiju. For some reason I just love how he looks. And he was the first monster to bring King Ghgidorah down in Destroy All Monstes, now that's cool!

Same here, I always enjoy that moment when he and Godzilla sort of communicate with each other, like their trying to figure out how to engage Ghidorah.

Indeed it is, that and the scene in Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster were Godzilla, Mothra and Rodan are discussing on what to do about Ghidorah. In my opinion there needs to be some monster talk scenes in future films.

I could take Gorosaurus or leave him. He was perfect for King Kong Escapes, and it was fun to see him again in Destroy All Monsters, but I'm not exactly aching for more Goro. The kangaroo kick is legit awesome though... without that, there's no way I'd give even half a shit about Goro.

Is this actually even a question? What do you think, considering his arms can barely reach the bottom of his face

He only appears in 2 films. The arms are not that dissimiliar to that of the percieved ideas of many Theropod dinosaurs. Extremely small arms with very little practical use.

Before I recently watched KKE again, I was going to start a thread asking how a suit actor could have acted in the Gorosaurus suit, since the Hind Legs were so small. Of course I was just viewing the bandai toy from the mid 1990's. The actual suit has Legs that obviously mimic that of Human legs for ease of use. But I applaud the bandai figures attempt at pseudo realism.

There has never been a "Scientifically Accurate" Dinosaur portrayed on any Television Show, Movie, or Documentary. Only what the human imagination can conceive, and I'm ok with that.
