Gojira is my favorite for sure. That movie is one of my all time favorite films.

Mothra Vs. Godzilla & Rodan are pretty high up there for me as well.

Maybe Minilla was some mutation inside a Kamacarus' ootheca and that's why they attacked..... Maybe Minilla ISN'T the Son of Godzilla! He's some weird Kamacari that Godzilla felt bad for!

..... Nope, the other guys would never accept that..........

For me, It is Matango, then Gojira :P.

Sadly I have not seen that many Tsuburaya films to pick from. So I cant say.

Mothra vs Godzilla is truly when everything came together perfectly. No other Godzilla film can match it.

I'd say it's a toss-up between Godzilla and Mothra vs. Godzilla. They're trying to accomplish different things but they're equally good in their own ways. At least that's my pick out of the ones I've seen, and I've seen all the movies on that list except for the early pre-Godzilla films, which must provide an interesting context for what came later.

Super hard to choose. For me, it's a three-way tie between Godzilla, Mothra, and Mothra vs. Godzilla.

Gojira is their "best" film, but I find myself watching Mothra vs. Godzilla just as often so one might call that my favorite Honda and Tsuburaya film. If forced to choose between them, I'd pick Gojira just because the kaiju genre wouldn't exist without it.

not an original choice by any means but I'd pick Mothra vs. Godzilla, followed by War of the Gargantuas. Perhaps Gorath too.

Mothra vs Godzilla. Its not my favorite of the franchise but it is definitely the point where Honda, Tsuburaya, and Ifukube got everything to come together perfectly.

Gojira, Mothra, Rodan, War of the Gargantuans, and Mothra vs. Godzilla are all top-notch, easily.

I wouldn't say no contest. One remarkable thing about their films is the consistent level of quality. All of the films on that list, with only a few exceptions, are excellent. Compare that with filmmakers like Tim Burton and Steven Spielberg, who have turned out some major stinkers in their old age.

Gojira, for me. It's certainly the best I've watched.

King Kong vs. Godzilla, I love this film for sentimental reasons and the atmosphere of the Faro Island in the storm and the Mt. Fuji battle.

The War of the Gargantuas, I recently saw this and its predecessor I enjoyed this film because of its different format and quick pace. The fact that the model buildings are larger and more detail is also amazing. Great kaiju film.

Atragon, Matango and the Mysterians are the best ones to me.
You just can't go wrong with those movies.
